Trades Round 3 trades

Alright boys, it's happening lol, Taranto is going out, just 1 week after I brought him in

Here is how I'm justifying it:
If I held Daniher and the cash last week, I would have still traded Daniher and a dead rookie to Impey and Tex this week
This in and out trade is just a correction, I made a mistake, now I'm fixing it
This mistake has cost me 1 trade, it's bad, but it could have been worse

I'll look at grabbing a GWS player (Whitfield, Jelly, Cogs maybe, maybe even Taranto again lol) after their bye, in round 13, when they have this run:


It's fine! Everything will work out in the end!

I'd be more concerned that you traded Taranto in after R1...
If you started him fair enough but in After R1 & then out after R2 WOW

BTW I have Taranto so hopefully he tons up again this week

Yeah I'm ****ing stupid. I had $200k+ and my thought process was "well I may as well get another premo in now"
Taranto will be fine, I fully expect him to end the year averaging around 100, but he pissed me right off and I need more cash generation power
Happy to pick him up again in round 13 when they vs the Kangas

So I am thinking of Trading Cripps and Phillips for Bowes and Tex.... am I crazy? Got 135k spare as well. Currently 175 which is abit of a shock

Warner is the only missing rookie, and he looks like a good one.

Your trades are ballsy, if it fails you may plummet though lol, but Bowes does look good, and Tex could be $500k soon

With such a high rank, I would probably play it safer. Maybe a stud premo like Ridley or Brayshaw or whoever else you can afford, then Warner?

Back your gut mate, you got plenty of options.

I think Flynn is a must have based on his first two weeks whereas Hunter will be gone soon and his scoring capacity has been poor

Jordon looks like a good rookie, the only one you're missing aside from Flynn (or Meek)

If Scott gets dropped (which we're all expecting), maybe just double rookie correction trade:
Scott to Jordon
Hunter to Flynn (or Meek)

Butters obviously looked good, but he played 2 trash sides, might not get as much space and time vs better opposition. If you truly believe he'll keep up this scoring then go for it, might be now or never, but cash generation on the bench is bloody important

Sure did.

Traded out Campbell after round 1 when he scored a shizen 53 for H.Young as I had cash leftover after doing a last minute team restructure before round 1 completed to get enough cash to bring Dusty in for round 2.

Realised my F5 and F6 positions were trash after round 2 (Rowe and Scott) so traded Young to Campbell and Fullerton to Impey so I don't have to play Rowe and Scott on the ground again.

Yes there is a method to the madness, I'm not in a stray jacket yet....

Crisp is the only one with solid scoring history, seems like the safest option, albeit the most expensive.

What does the cash leftover if you go the cheaper alternative get you, anything exciting planned, any early upgrade plans?

I worry about Luko being moved around, might throw some stinkers in. Crisp and Bowes are definitely the safer options

So I'd say it's Crisp vs Bowes + cash

I am really torn with what to do this week... Oscar McIrnenry alrady ruled out.. considering trading him for Meek and then using the additional $ to change Menandue to Bowes.. Anyone got a better idea?

I like that option Bowes looks like a decent buy and Meek is gonna earn you some cash.
