Is it a coin flip between cerra and Brayshaw? Or are people going cerra for the extra 60k

Surprised this isn't getting a bit more attention.

Brayshaw has clearly upped his tog, fitness/workrate etc, etc, and as such is getting far more footy.
His 'advanced stat' numbers have remained steady, but getting a lot more uncontested ball all over the ground.
If you think he can average 100 in fantasy, he'll probably average 110 in SC.

Cerra is a bit harder to get a full read on imo.
2 very consistent games so far, playing very much in the middle and is leading the Dockers in both meters gained and I50's.
Clearly an evolution to his role, combined with a more attacking, direct game style has given him a genuine SC edge.

He's clearly gone passed players like Acres, Aish, Bewley and Tucker (all had more I50's than Cerra last year). Fyfe and Mundy spending less time in the middle...

My only question is how Walters affects his numbers??

Relatively low TOG this week (because he could), so you'd think his midfield minutes would be pretty safe even with Walters rolling through, but playing forward more out of necessity.

Just my relatively uninformed opinion of course. Good fixtures, esp up to Rd. 10.
Brayshaw 110, Cerra 100-110??

Asked earlier in the week but can't be f***** trying to find my post. No closer to knowing what I am doing yet... gotta slow down on the drinks and sort this out.

What would you all do with this?

Thinking:
Cripps -> Ridley or Bowes
Tyson -> Walker

Butters under consideration but feel like Ridley or Bowes make more sense. Any suggestions?

Alright boys, it's happening lol, Taranto is going out, just 1 week after I brought him in

Here is how I'm justifying it:
If I held Daniher and the cash last week, I would have still traded Daniher and a dead rookie to Impey and Tex this week
This in and out trade is just a correction, I made a mistake, now I'm fixing it
This mistake has cost me 1 trade, it's bad, but it could have been worse

I'll look at grabbing a GWS player (Whitfield, Jelly, Cogs maybe, maybe even Taranto again lol) after their bye, in round 13, when they have this run:

It's fine! Everything will work out in the end!

Don't forget to trade Jordan Clark out too :moustache:

Sure did.

Traded out Campbell after round 1 when he scored a shizen 53 for H.Young as I had cash leftover after doing a last minute team restructure before round 1 completed to get enough cash to bring Dusty in for round 2.

Realised my F5 and F6 positions were trash after round 2 (Rowe and Scott) so traded Young to Campbell and Fullerton to Impey so I don't have to play Rowe and Scott on the ground again.

Yes there is a method to the madness, I'm not in a stray jacket yet....
I will have 2 roughie trades coming up soon enough if I trade Neale out, which will be bringing him back as well as dangerflog

I am really torn with what to do this week... Oscar McIrnenry alrady ruled out.. considering trading him for Meek and then using the additional $ to change Menandue to Bowes.. Anyone got a better idea?

O'Neill > James Jordon (via Dow swing to F5)
Stephenson > Warner

Next week
Big O > Gawn

I would be at least be doing the Tyson > Walker

Cripps to Macrae or Piggy
Tyson to Tex
Cheers for the response... both Macrae & Oliver are on the to buy list. I was working off B/E and thought maybe they could wait for first upgrade purchases? Just worried about how much these guys cost and need to make the most of $$$. Definitely going to consider them now though. Both Ridley & Bowes are gonna jump in price

Oh I know about Tyson.. he got me good, just figured North had injuries and he could piece together a couple of decent scores, hindsight and all that!

On the plus side I nailed all the must have rookies so was bound to get a dud pick somewhere. At least I can work around it and earn some $$$ off Tex at worst.

Ridley fisho bro!
Not sold on tex personally but can see the appeal with the quick cash grab.
Seems like your on top of it!
...drink up son!

16k in the bank. Forced to trade Danger + Rowell, need to trade Draper + Caldwell.

Main options being considered:

A) Draper + Caldwell to Butters + Meek + 148k in bank (Flynn/Meek to R2 feels like the best option for me since I have taranto + phillips to worry about too)
B) Draper + Caldwell to Nicnat + Warner + 5.9k in bank (worried about Nicnats durability and having 3 swans rookies up fwd)
C) Draper + Caldwell to Lycett + Impey + 10k in bank (not a huge believer Lycett keeps these scores up)
D) Taranto + Caldwell to Oliver + Warner + 18k in bank (solve Draper problem next week and keep Flynn at R2. 3 swan rookie problem still)
E) Taranto + Caldwell to Dunkley + Impey + 46k in bank (move a DPP to mid and put dunkley up forward)
F) Taranto + Caldwell to Butters + Jordon + 223k in bank (next week should be able to upgrade draper to Grundy)

I'm in a world of hurt and have a million options for trades :(
I'd start Flynn and trade Draper next week, that is what I'm doing. I'd probably do the Butters, Jordan trade but I'm not an expert.

I thought it was in-out-in...
Or is that next level Roughieness?

Roughie = Out and back In.
Double Roughie = Out, In & Out again.
Quadruple Roughie = Out, In, Out & In again.
Reverse Roughie = In, then Out.
Reverse Double Roughie = In, Out & In again.
Quadruple Reverse Roughie = In, Out, In & Out again kenty!

don't want to be pedantic but wouldn't it be a Triple not a Quadruple

My understanding is that it is out then back in. But I believe the true Roughie is where the two players going out/ in are the same both times. i.e.

IN: TEXAN
OUT: JOE. D

then

IN: JOE. D
OUT: TEXAN

Here2tellyouwhy Judd_Magic

The Roughie manouver can't be pigeon-holed into just one manouver as there are different variations.

Here2tellyouwhy the splendid kenty took it too a whole new level roughing in, out, in, out Lycett with Westhoff which brought tears to my eyes. 😭

As far as the original traditional roughy manouver goes though you are correct as thats what I did many moons ago and with Campbell and H.Young this week. 😄

Fine, it can be a Triple. A Quadriple Roughie can be that thing that Here2tellyouwhy did with Hoff & Lyjett that time when even he lost track of how many times he Roughied them. :D

Can we sticky this for future..?

How do you think the Suns' injuries from the weekend affect team structure?
Don't think it affects much if Harbrow comes in he replaces Budaricks role, and then Corbett or Burgess will come in and replace Day. I'd say it would be Burgess as he can help ruck which is what Day was doing. Won't affect Bowes and Lukosius at all
