ive gotten the sand out of my vagina and decided to keep cripps, was looking forward to making only the 1 trade this week in tossing fyfe, but it has come to my attention how well chad warner is going, is he considered a must have rookie?

He has a history of injury.
He has already missed games.
I think he's your worst pick by far.
Cripps is playing.
He scored more in his first game than Cripps or Neale did in either at a far cheaper price. If he plays he’s much better value than Cripps and I can’t get an option I like in defence trading Heppell out.

If he misses again this week it’s a concern but if he plays as expected I have bigger issues.

Played 2 games 70&94 average 82 and getting midfield minutes. Price is $144,000 BE-80 if you don't have him get him in NOW

Cripps to Butters nets me how many points?
Cripps surely doesn’t go worse than 100 from his next 20 games. Butters surely doesn’t go better than 110. Still 200 points, and worthy of a trade. What to do, what to do!

BE -80, 100% a must have.

Can Harbrow play lockdown small defender? I always saw him as an attacking half back, sort of like the role that Markov's been playing this year...
He can but he isn't very good at it, he has played on the quick small forwards in the past and usually gets beat. We have Powell who can intercept and lockdown quite well.

lol Butters isn't going 110 for the season.

Hope for everyone whos trading in Butters sake that I'm wrong but I have a feeling it's going to end up much like Rozee last season just to a lesser extent. Traded in Rozee last year after a super hot start like many others and got burned by it. Think he went on to average 70 odd after two big scores to start the season (although I think Butters will average more than that). Not only that but there is a misconception about Butters' role, I don't think he attended any CBAs last week so he's not actually playing midfield but playing half forward and pushing up the ground. Not to mention they've played the two worst sides in the league will be interesting to see how he goes with better competition.

He could turn out to be a good pick, just not for me purely because of my experience with Rozee so I've gone the safer Dusty route instead (albeit 70k more expensive). If I'm wrong and Butter turns out to be a must have then I'll trade him in later on down the track. I don't think we've seen enough to say hes a 100% must have yet.

I said surely not better than 110. He’s gone 60, 87 to start his career. I’d be shocked if he doesn’t go 100-110 in 2021.
The current Cripps I can only see going 90-100. But what will the spread in avg be from here on out! +10 to Butters? +5 to Butters?
Butters only needs to go 108 from here to have a 110 avg, not unrealistic for a top 40 player and potentially a top 22 player in 2021. The kid is a jet.

Firstly, literally nobody thinks that Butters' primary role is that of a Centre Square Mid. Secondly, he had 7 CBAs last week (23%) and 6 (20%) in Rd1

Rozee was injured after round 2 and wasn't the same for the rest of the season. Butters played 43% mid last week and attended 7 CBA's. Going to be up and down but, injury risk aside, I reckon he'll be a top 10 forward this year.

Put the sand back in

Ditch cripps

Won't be a top 15 mid

Considering
1. No Trades
2. Cripps and Young to Ridley/ Lloyd and Berry
3. Cripps and Young to Martin and Berry
4. Jones to Berry
5. No idea really

Any advice would be welcomed and appreciated. Still have 30 trades.
Rest assured whatever you choose to do will be the wrong decision

My situation below.

I think I've done pretty well with the rookies, and no obvious (?) trades that need to occur here.

Any advice on where to go here?

I think Gaff is my biggest concern, and there is some real (potential) value in guys like Walsh/Brayshaw.

Would love any feedback on the team, and possible trades to consider..
