1 trade left. Three options.

1. Tex Walker > Rioli, Chapman, Bartel, Monfries, etc....
2. Dangerfield > Jobe
3. Do nothing

Most likely the latter as Dangerfield will still have a great year. Also Dangerfield and Tex average well against the Power so at least their BE will reduce. Still believe they will be in the top 8 (or 6) for their positions.

PS. I have Karnezis but will stay put with him as Claye Beams' injury has helped JS. If Rowe performs this week then Karnezis > Rowe.

What do you think?

Never trade dangerfield
walker to any of the above mentinoed is an okay move
just DO - do something!

Hey guys,

I have 3 that I’m thinking of trading of now. Watts, Karnezis and Houli. Watts is definitely going to go and Houli is probably the lowest priorty to trade but at the same time I’m wondering if I should jump on Birchall or Hartlett or downgrade to L Brown for the extra cash. Currently going to jump on either JJK or Dwyer or both if I decide to trade both the forwards. Wondering also if CBeams going down will hopefully give Karnezis some more game time.
Any thoughts?

its really quite simple - choose the two highest break evens (provided they are not considered ultra premiums and were chosen as season keepers - such as dangerfield) and provided there are playing rookies in that position who are going to rise considerably in price then trade them out for the rookie or an ultra premium if you can afford it, but remember rookies are only rookies once
Getting cash is the key to getting the big guns!

Cash is the key. I suppose the issue I'm having, particularly with someone like Dwyer is his long term job security is pretty poor given all the players the Pies have coming back in over the next month, and he's not a full elevation, so once the LTI runs out he'll probably go back where he was, and later in the year I don't want to be stuck with non playing bench cover. It would be an easier trade to make if we could see more forward rookies coming through in the next few weeks to roll him over to, but they look pretty scarce this year.

Just so long as he plays the next 3-5 rounds I'll be happy. By that time surely one of Stringer/Daniher/Menzel would be getting games.

Agreed but by round 8 Dwyer will be 400K + the way he is going - by then Staker or mayes or lee will be hopefully in, as for the pies players coming back, Didak - 3 weeks form pending (he hasnt played an above average game for 18 months) Krak - 3-4 weeks likely to come back as the sub or be the sub, beams = gun straight back in - bye bye ben sinclair. Krak comes back in bye bye seedsman. Ball is at least a month away from match fitness, and even then Jordan Russell must be questionable.
I see Dwyer as at worst a rd 6 trade option , more likely a rd 8 trade option and at a damm good profit

Have 3 options I am considering, what is more important?
I am ranked 40,000 and need to make up points already. I have benched the 100+ scoring rookies each time:(

THE MID-PRICER CORRECTION BEFORE PRICE FALLS/RISES?
Bennell> another mid-pricer (looking @ Fyfe), or cheapie before price rise (Dwyer, Crouch, Moloney, Parker)
Karnezis> Leuenberger (points this week and cash from the week after)

OR CORRECTING NON-PLAYING ROOKIES FOR CASH GENERATION?
Docherty>Heath
Lee>Neade, Rowe, Dwyer

This is my team, currently have $22k:
B: GIBBS, GRIMES, HANLEY, HARTLETT, Goodes, Pittard (Stevenson, Docherty) Heath
M: J.KENNEDY, SIDEBOTTOM, M.MURPHY, MUNDY, BENNELL, Wines, O'Meara, Whitfield (Viney, B.Hill) FYFE, Dwyer
R: MINSON, COX (Blicavs, Witts) LEUENBERGER
F: ROCKLIFF, MARTIN, ROBINSON, J.KENNEDY, B.MATERA, Karnezis (Macaffer, Lee)

The players in red I am looking to possibly discard this week, the players in blue I am looking to trade in. What would you wise SC masters do?

Stringer would be nice, I don't see Menzel and Daniher playing much this year.

Hopefully Staker can get on the field and stay there so we have a decent trade down target for Dwyer when he eventually goes-otherwise it's going to be very slim pickings.

Karnezis -> Leuenberger can wait until at least next week (Karnezis won't drop too far if he doesn't start sub and Leuey has only played a game). Lee to Neade/Dwyer and Docherty to Heath will certainly make you more cash than Bennell -> Fyfe will, you could probably do a straight swap between those two next week.

Really cannot decide what to do with Zorko. Some are holding, some are trading. What would you do? Early in the week was set on a trade to chapman but now im not sure. Chappy is a proven performer and i know what ill get from him but Zorko could be anything SC scoring wise. I see him copping a tag most weeks though from a DEF fwd?? Chappy or Zorko?

If thats the case, then realistically it is down to either Rioli or Chapman. Not sure which one will be better. I still may hold out and wait for Steve Johnson to play.

What's your opinion?

stevie J will pay this week.

for me its rioli - seriously the guy needs 12 touches to score 80 (god knows how) and 16 touches and 2 goals = 110 points

Karny to Dwyer also strongly considered Hartlett to Dixon but I think I'll hold off on that one and hope it pays off in the long run!

Callan Ward -> Aaron Mullett

Thoughts?

I've asked this before, but still not sure. Damn the reversible trades!

I'm happy that they're both dropped. Gives me extra time to get rid of them next week without losing cash this time... trading out Toumpas and Koby Stevens.

Karnezis dropped is a life saver! Reckon Vossy has him in his SC team!

Now i can do Watts (in backline) - Brown(ADE) and then Byrnes (i know stupid move) to Rockliff

Then next week, Koby Stevens to Crouch and upgrade Karnezis to Lecras (who i think wont play this week but will next week)

Watts > JJ Kennedy
Dal Santo > ??

Have $716,800 so could go anyone, but real tempted to take the punt on Libba and pocket a nice $272,400 for future upgrades.

Also contemplating holding Watts for the week, moving moving Ryder into the ruck for Jenkins then trading Ryder for Leuy.
