I'm getting the pass on Dwyer feeling too! Purely because of the players who have and will come back over the next few weeks.

Willing to loose money on Roughy before wasting a trade this week?
THink might give loonyberger another week see how he goes I know roughy has a big b/e but if lonney goes down it will a waste of trade.Would rather roughy rucking but they like baily/hale compo more.

Yeh but now the extra conundrum is if I drop Vlaustin I have no Captains loophole safety net after it burnt me last week. However If I do trade Vlausti for Luke Brown I pocket 30k which then I can use to upgrade Bliclavs to Looey (if he plays well) next week and have a ruck of Jacobs/Looey with Cox in the forward line and Rowe as a third emergency.

Basically do I take the risk of having no captains loophole safety net and have a chance to complete my rucks for the entire year.

You can always trade in a non playing rookie when you downgrade in a few weeks, but I understand your hesitation.

Ok need tips on what people would do. Already set that Watts & Toumpas are going this week.

Watts - J.J Kennedy
Toumpas - Dwyer or Heath (Goodes to MIDS)

I have read a lot about both and can't split them. Dwyer looks a better scorer from what i have seen but Heath's JS is higher! Which way should i go? Either way it will give me 260k + to play with upgrading down the track. Need some help cos i'm struggling to decide here. Cheers :thumbsu:

already done Watts to Dwyer

thinking of doing Karnezies to J.Selwood.

only have 4 prems in mids (ablett, pendles, murphy, cotchin) and no mid prices like moloney or fyfe

doing this trade will leave me with no cash though.

so not sure if i should do it or go for someone like fyfe or do no trade.

I reckon you take selwood personally, guy is a jet, means you have 5 set and forget midfielders, especially early on when your side has lots of rookies, you wanna get as many consistent premiums as you can! You will make enough money to cover the difference IMO. Of course though Fyfe or Barlow are flying at the moment so it's your choice.

Pittard,Lbrown would be better and have js.

Oh yeah the bit I didn't mention is, I have no bench cover forward either way doing Dwyer, it's either Neade or Dwyer who plays and the other will sit on the MIDS bench,

If i choose Heath or Brown they will be on the bench in DEF, Goodes would go onto the ground in the MIDS with either Lucas, Viney or Wines going to the bench.

Tricky spot weighing it all up!

What do people think of down grading Houli to Suban? Could do a sideways trade to Heppell. The extra cash could be very handy though.... The down grade give me $344K in the bank!

Not sold on Suban to be honest, rather Heppell, he will be a keeper so won't have the worry of trading him off later. I think you're better off taking the safer option here.

Yeah might be right. Would most likely trade out Suban later. Might as well jump on Heppell who looks like a keeper.

I could be wrong about Suban and he might be ready to have that breakout year. But I'm just not sold that it will continue. Heppell looks like he will be getting big midfield minutes and sides will be more worried about Watson, Goddard, Stanton, etc so won't have a great deal of attention paid to him!

I actually tossed up between Houli and Heppel for ages. After watching Houli dominate the NAB cup and play further up the ground I went with him. Seems teams have worked out to drag him deep and actually make him play on someone to stop his run. Killing his SC scores to. Heppell it is and he's DPP which is handy.

Yeah Houli looked completely different in the NAB cup, sides were always going to switch onto him i thought, could of been worse you could of fallen in the 6ft plus hole that is known as Jack Watts like i did!

Any chance i can get your opinion on my little dilemma though?

I got 3 rookies sitting on bench (1mid,2back) that haven't played yet! Docherty, Van Unen and Vlastuin.

I've already traded Watts>jRoo - so I have one trade left. What should I do with em?? Are they even going to play?? Which rookies should I be looking at to pick up??

I don't want to miss the money boat departing in 40minutes :(

EDIT: PS. I already have Goodes, Pittard, Terlich, Omeara, Viney, Crouch, Mitchell in my team...

Same here mate, but I'm going to stick with Houli for now. I've got bigger issues to deal with this week, and will be off-loading Yarran and Karnezis instead.

I traded Karnezis to Dwyer also. Besides that I'm looking ok. Houli hasn't worked so I'm jumping off now, seems Heppell may be in for a breakout year. Better jump on now I suppose and hope he does!

Starting to wonder whether my tex to rioli trade is worth it. Wasting one trade for $80,000 is it worth it? (I think rioli and tex will both average roughly the same throughout the year).

Hmmm yours is a little tougher than mine!

Watts to JJK is a good move. But maybe upgrading Watts to a keeper like Rockliff etc... may be a better option. Personally i dunno if JJK is a keeper yet obviously.

Toumpas to Dwyer or Heath is a tough choice. Heath seems to have better JS but Dwyer seems a better scorer atm. He could keep his spot but we just don't know for how long.

Getting rid of them for anyone is making your team instantly better.

Man there's so many options my head hurts....
