Out: Kane Mitchell/Docherty
In: Sam Dywer/Campbell Heath

Heaths value will go up but is he a keeper?

My question is Ryder to who?
I have Maric + Jenkins (Rowe, Currie) as my starting rucks.
I have Cox and Ryder in the foward line. I'm thinking of going Ryder > McEvoy/Jacobs/Minson by swapping with Jenkins and then my rucks are set with the option of moving Cox around there during the byes. Looking at the bye weeks, it looks like Jacobs would probably be the best pick.
Im not sure Minson can carry the scoring all year. McEvoy is in a team that is struggling but still scoring well.

Thoughts?
Get Kreuzer instead of all 3 that you listed as replacements.

LOL, I wish! 5 of our next 7 games involve North (A), Geelong(H), Freo(H), Collingwood(A) and Hawthorn(A).

Parker: I think if you missed the boat on Parker in Round 1 there is not much point in bringing him in now, he will make cash for sure but at best he will average 90-95, plus his scores might drop off against the better teams.

Rockliff/Bartel: It would be good to have both Rockwiz and Bartel but if I had to pick one right now I would go for the Wiz.

Pass on Dixon for now.
Ok, if passing on Parker and Dixon, what to do with Benell? Need to downgrade to someone around 400k anywhere on field except Ruck (using DPP) to free up cash for Luey next round.

Gambling....

Going to ride it with Toumpas for another week. Yes I'll lose cash
Hoskin - Elliot. Sticking. Been the sub twice.

J. Brown to Kennedy
Varcoe to Lynch

Gamble, gamble, gamble, gamble.

Z.Smith -> Leuenberger (done)

keeping Karnezis for now. hopefully he gets dropped so he won't go down in value. i'm keen on getting Knights or Gray after they've played 2 games

I agree, stick with Hoskin-Elliot. Great point potential and good chance at getting full games at GWS.

OK I'm struggling to select which two trades are the best way to go with the following under-performers.
One of them will definitely be getting rid of Watts, but the other one, well ???

OUT, two of:
Watts (can trade him out for either a forward or a backman as I have his DPP linkage activated)
Lewis Jetta
Koby Stevens
Karnezis

IN: two of
Hanley
Birchall
Wines
Dwyer
Cyril
Bartel
Pettard

Anyone care to have a go at nailing this?

Either of McEvoy/Jacobs are proven performers, Minson may well go that way this year if you're prepared to take the risk.

Out Watts and Jetta. Stevens will still likely rise in price (albeit it not by much) and Karnezis is up against GC and might close the gap and not lose too much. There's a chance they'll make more over the coming weeks whereas Watts and Jetta were both already awkwardly priced, will drop and don't look anything like keepers currently.

I'd go Jetta > Wines
And Watts > the strongest available FW/BK in the area your team is currently weakest.

First time someone in here has mentioned Gray. Already a lock for me. Due back this week after 2 in the SANFL. Will be vested for first two almost certainly so will drop again.

I've kept an eye on him as well, could be a good downgrade target but still inconsistent. LeCras I would rather get back at this stage, obviously depending on his arm and if hes fit. Neither will come in this week thats for sure even if playing.

Will pump out 90+ scores without blinking

Personally I would trade him for Mundy if you don't have him, you would make 50k and if he remains injury free he could average around 110.

Brent Moloney is another one who comes to mind but at best he'll average 95-100 and you may have to trade him out when he reaches his peak , however he could be good bench cover later in the year.

If you want to go sideways, maybe Rioli? Risky I know but he doesn't need a lot of the ball to score well. also its worth noting Rioli played more games than Buddy in 2010 and 2012

By all means have a punt on Parker if you have a gut feeling about him, don't let me scare you off. He'll make some quick cash and put some big scores together but you'll have to be prepared to trade him out again.

most likely will do

Byrnes -> Dwyer
Vlastuin -> Heath

thoughts? i was thinking to trade Kane Mitchell, but ill ride it out with him, hopefully hes not the bloody sub!

As Crouching from the Jock Reynolds pod casts says -

"Fix team, trade you're ar5e off!" :D:thumbsu:

Thanks for that. It's great information :thumbsu:

Interesting that those formulae use $5,140 as the value for each point whereas the players starting value is based on a price of $5,390 per point in last season's average.
