Given the circumstances that the players are versing this week, who should i put as my captain?

My options - Ablett, Goldstein or Fyfe.

Except that's the one thing you can't do with VC/C selections.

It's check loopholes, set VC/C, recheck loopholes, watch VC score, decide whether to take it, sub captain, set emergencies, check emergencies and captain, worry about taking VC score in case C goes big, watch C game, wish you could forget all your choices over the entire weekend, forget.

Thinking with Gaz or Fyfe a pretty safe C option tonight, might take the risk on a VC today with Dusty Martin. Went big with 151 last year v Adelaide. Or Buddy v GWS. Just feel I've got a toss of the coin, 120 either way tonight on Gaz/Fyfe so risk it for the biscuit on my VC. Thinking Dusty.

So the VC didn't work. Had it on Wines. (Friday night was my only loophole option). I now have to pick between GAJ against Carlton or Danger against the lions in his first game at KP. Leaning towards Danger. Any views? Do Carlton tag these days?

Was wondering about that, too, Curnow maybe? Academic for me, Ablett the only option I have any confidence in. In your case, can see the attraction of Danger. Robinson will go to him, I think, though.

I had the VC on Gray last night, considering I have massive goolies I'm seriously considering putting the C on Wells tomorrow, I have a feeling he's going to be beastly against the GoDees. My other options for C are Fyfe or Danger.

EDIT missed transferring C from Crouch to Wells due to family stuff happening. Just watch Wells score 150+ tomorrow Oh well 246 from Gray as VC isn't a bad return.

Both are good options. I'd go Gaz

I think I've f'd the captains loophole. Had Pendles VC and the C on Crouch since he wasn't playing and Gaz as the emergency. Now I can't change the captain after the crows game even though Crouch didn't play. So looks like I will get Pendles 98.

Because Crouch plays for the Crows even though he didn't play he gets locked out from the first bounce of the game.
Same goes for every player on Adelaide and Richmonds squad. Once the ball is bounced no player on either team, playing or not can be traded, VC'D, made captain, subbed.

Lesson learnt mate.

Pendles got 102 if that's any consolation. Not the worst C score

Yeah rebounded with a few cheapies in the end against my Saints, hurts more with Gaz on 67 at the half and he was the other half of my botch loophole!
