I have Sharp and Scott and neither will play this week. I'd rather keep them both in the short term, hope they get a game again soon, maybe making some money

Dogs and Lions have early games, but between the 2 of them (and the imminent dropping/resting of my other rookies), I should be able to loop something

I will bring in a RUCK/FWD perma donut for loophole for Flynn when he maxes out

Got the same issue. Hard to see either Grundy or Macrae missing out (I've got Bont to consider too).

Feels like one of those 50/50 calls that you always get wrong.

VC Grundy, Bont or Macrae for me (looped with Saunders from the Hawks).

Grundy could go big tonight with no Oscar, but how many times do we say that only for them to score an awkward 130 when you've still got an e.g. Gawn to come.

Bont can throw in the odd shocker so he's a cross for me, but gladly take a 150 if it means missing out on his VC score, if..

Macrae scores 140+ as my VC.

By the way Captain is spelt wrong in the thread title.

no - but Bevo has indicated Wood is a likely in and JJ is in the mix.

If Scott is indeed dropped since the dogs play tomorrow I'll be forced to VC Grundy as you'd only be able to use his loop for tonights game. If he is named i'll probably chuck the VC on Macrae in the event another one of my rookies get dropped and go Gawn C.

I might go Grundy VC and then decide on Macrae or Gawn as C if I need to.

The possibility of Grundy going 150 against Fullerton and Ballenden is a strong one and I don't want to miss out on that.

130 isn't awkward. You should take that every time from a VC.
If you're really worried that Gawn will score much more than that you should make him your VC. Of course you'd probably only have Titch as a C option then ... if you have him.
