Geez, Princes Park has changed since I was there. I went there in our first year in the AFL. For some reason we played North Melbourne there.

Good to see footy played on some of these traditional venues.

Stayed at the prince of whales back in the day for one of the early Anzac games. Dad was down at the bar having a drink. The next morning at breakfast he was telling us he was drinking with some American blokes. The next day at the game Hootie and the blow fish walked onto the G to sing a song. “That’s the blokes I was drinking with”. My old man had a session with Hootie and the blowfish.
