We batted pretty well in the first, getting a score of 200 is a really good effort. Kirkswan and Shermy did well to get us going before TheInjuryFactory's big hitting at the end propelled to what was a great score. Unfortunately we let ourselves down with the ball and only the TheInjuryFactory and Shermy looked comfortable with the ball in hand. Some tighter bowling would have seen us defend the total relatively comfortably.
The second game was much better. Early wickets proved to be key, happy to take five wickets and keep the runs down with Shermy being effective with the ball again with couple of wickets. We were certainly cautious with the bat and lost a few wickets early but the skipper in iBeng steadied the ship along with Shermy before TheInjuryFactory got us home with some more lusty hitting.
One win and a loss again from these matches which isn't a bad result and we have some positives to take out of the games.
