We are just a very poor team with a bad game plan and a coach that is too stubborn to realise the game has gone past multiple players and our game plan.

Was speaking to a relative who knows someone involved in the Sydney Academy players, they were talking about game plans. Hawthorn use a H pattern gameplan, Sydney use diamonds. I didn’t quite understand what it all meant but Mr Academy said it doesn’t work these days, not with the rules and the players we have.

Until we have a deep, premiership contending list, there is going to be a few fringe players in the side every week. Are you just going to bring up their stats and highlight every mistake every week? Frost, a core member of the squad, just had a co plate fresh air in the backline and cost us a goal. Had several howlers last week too. McEvoy has conceded goals to Darcy. He is our bloody captain and didn’t chase him into defence. Or got out marked by him on the goal line. Impey missed several easy kicks and put us under pressure. Hartigan had a horror first quarter and conceded three free kicks within about 10m of goal. This is where we are actually losing the game.

I agree that those mistakes will ultimately cost us the game, can't argue that and there should be a reckoning with those specific established senior players. However in general their howlers are outweighed by what they bring to our team, especially over the course of their time at the club to date.

However you don't need a deep and premiership contending list to not have to play guys like TOB. He would not get a game for any other side in the competition and has had several years and over 80 games to show something. He's not the reason we are going to lose this game, but he's done absolutely nothing to help us win either. We may as well have been a player down. 5 touches, 1 mark, 2 frees against after not putting in a top performance in the VFL would be laughably bad, if it wasn't for us.

To be fair we are moving the ball quicker from half-back. Just terrible skills under real pressure and some key players underperforming.
