If your phone doesn't have an FM receiver, which is likely if it's new, to listen to the AFL match during play you need to download the AFL app. Go to the live game scores and click on the listen button. Pick you favourite station and listen.
Before the games you can listen via a station's app. SEN, Triple ABC. On ABC Listen app there is an AFL specific chanel, also a general Sports channel that sometimes had AFL talk.
