I hope when TK flips the coin pre-game, to decide whether or not he puts in a shift, that it comes up in our favour this week.

I have the feeling our senior players are going to put in an effort like R1. Hopefully the kids crack in and make the best of it but I could see this being a mow the lawn by half time kind of an event.

Assuming it is Brock, Gross and Davis replacing the 3 outs, average age of 24 and 73 games and that includes 12 players with less than 50 games

GWS last week averages were 27 and 123 games and 4 with less than 50.

EDIT - Pies last night were 29, 173 and zero

Andrew McQualter presser:
-doesn’t think Oscar Allen should feel “ashamed” for Mitchell meeting
-unclear when Elijah Hewett injured calf, but not taking risks
-hopeful Jake Waterman is back next weekAnd Nic Naitanui is travelling with the team.

Well we gave Andrews a “BOG” award by kicking high so it’s probably worth putting a Bob or two on Taylor for;
(A) BOG
(B) Most marks.
I wonder if we will ever get a line coach teaching players to torpedo,grubber or kick to spaces not contests?
I won’t hold my breath!!

Whatever Hewett has must be very very low grade because Eagles posted training pics on IG half an hour ago and there's pic of him doing a full on long stride during running drills.

Unless they're pics from yesterday arvo.

That is yesturday so maybe pulled up tight after the session and no risks will be taken.

Yes. Does suggest low grade. Tendons have to be manage between complete rest and overloading. Tendons weaken very quickly with complete rest, and need repetitive speed loading to maintain. All they would be controlling would be the number of reps/loading. Doubt he played next week either, likely next home game. Gives a bigger block with no flights.

A lot of acid on the eagles this week, it’s the kind of week where the underdog comes and wins
