Needed a soft game like that after the challenging first four weeks, including the cyclone. So I understand the players not pushing it today.

But equally, I am microwaving my membership.

Never really threatened but that last quarter was ugly. We should be burying teams like this by more than we did. Oh well, on to the Dogs at Norwood!

You’ll never see a more textbook example of a superior team taking the foot of the pedal for an entire quarter.

How much of an issue that is is up for debate I guess.

Were going to be managing the impact of the lost bye and the West Coast climate atrocity for at least a month.

Midfield excellent for 3 quarters. Wilmot and Fletch continuing their strong form. Forwardline functioned reasonably well

Possibly still some issues defending ball movement on the bigger ground

Andrews really terrible

Kind of a boring game in the end. It's just ended and the only thing I remember is Will Ashcroft's bouncing goal from the boundary. I'm okay with the boys giving a half effort against the likely wooden spooners if it means they're saving their energy for the Dogs and Collingwood.

There's a lot of negativity here, would have thought we'd lost the game without any context. It wasn't an ideal way to finish the game but we've won comfortably.

Lot of guys (especially midfield and forward) took the foot off the accelerator at the end there. Lot of walking and standing around without bothering to chase or work hard

We’ve lifted when we’ve played decent opposition so far this year. Hopefully happens again.

Yeah the boys were coasting for most of the game but I’m not happy they coughed up a 9 goal lead to only win by 5 goals. Sloppy finish.
