We were in a much worse position both on field and off-field when Boak re-signed when he could have easily walked to Geelong for an easy shot at a premiership. Some guys want to put the club on their shoulders and lift the club up and try drag them to success rather then trying to take a short cut and walk into success.

He is far from our most skilled players but this is what made Boak one of our great leaders who dragged the club into the finals the following years and very nearly a premiership.

Wines only had 55% TOG, an inside mid used in the faux sub role again. Thought Zadow would of been more appropriate for this role. But at the same time also, wtf was the point of letting him play a full game for “conditioning” at sanfl just to play a little more than half the game when he is in the AFL squad.

Second step for his conditioning, I suppose…
