West Coast are playing Syd.

Yeh sorry, meant to type Sydney, those scores are for Sydney got caught up in someone else.

Interesting scores, might be spared the chopping block this week now but definitely wont be my skip.

Nobody wants to man up Shaw and Cornes is always good (bar v Syd and Carlton for some odd reason)

Hmmmm....

Editted.

Normally I'll just go with little Gazza if in any doubt, in fact I usually go with Gazza regardless.

This week I'm thinking maybe I should contemplate one of Shaw, Pavlich, Cornes or Ablett. Shaw seems inviting playing against the Blues, but (for whatever reason) I just feel safer with either Ablett or Cornes. Apart from 2 weeks ago with Cornes they just never seem to score poorly, though I'm sure the stats will show that neither does Shaw.

Not sure which way to go at this stage...

I'm thinking of putting Judd or Adam Cooney captain this week,

Carlton is playing Collingwood and i think he will have a big one this week,

Western Bulldogs are playing Essendon and west will be out so Cooney is gonna have to play a big role, i just hope he doesn't get tagged by one of the younger faster Essendon players.

Is anyone thinking about Cross? I don't know what his history vs Essendon is like, but the dons are not the same team anymore. Also with no West this week, and probably no tag he could be in for a huge score.

Interesting to note for those with brass balls.

Brown has dominated Port in the past 2 yrs with huge SC scores of 158 in 07 & 162 in 06. Injured early in the game 05 so he had low score of 13.

Anyone game?

Its out of Browny, Chad or Cross for me, with that record Brown is mighty tempting, guess it'll be a tough decision come lockout time!

I think it'll be Chad>Pav>Cross>Brown, but I'm probably going to be too tempted to resist Pav playing at home against the tigers.

B.Johnson is due for a good one and usually carves up the bombers. Anyone game enough to make him captain? I'm going for whoever spartan makes he's captain, the guys a legend and is a god in supercoach, trust him with my captain I will. :)

Smartass. ;)

I'm making Josh Hill captain. :p

Dal Santo has lost his title as captain, until he earns it again. This week is between H.Shaw J. Corey or Pav

Not game for either but, goodness, I hope they score well - their prices are plummeting and allowing everyone to hop on!

Simple, frugal, or austere: a Spartan diet; a spartan lifestyle.

Nope, not legend or god... :)

As for Captain, I gotta go with Pav, he's the only forward I would trust with my captaincy... Plus he smashed the tiges last year (158)...

The world will know that free men stood against a tyrant (Walsey), that few stood against many, and before this battle was over, even a god-king (Walsey) can bleed.

Yep that's the one. :thumbsu:

Rain = no captain.
Pav>Shaw>Cornes.

:P

Though should I go against, the SPARTAN!

:P

Walsey either you're drunk or i am, because I have no idea what the Rain = no captain statement means. I'm pretty sure I haven't been drinking. :p

Pav should rip the Tigers a new one but Shaw's current form is almost too good to ignore. Then there is Studly Chadly.

If there's rain, you don't pick them as a captain. :)

but the ='s brings it more in line with the >'s

:D

Pav's hard to pass up, at home, against the Tiggers, innit? But Shaw has been consistent, and against the Blue boys should have a bit of a day out...

How does it feel to be elevated to the pantheon Walesy? Or will it be Xerxes from now on?

:D I know...

Though Tyrant God-King does have a good ring to it, doesn't it...

You have many slaves (Franklin, Delidio, Stanton), Xerxes (Walsey), but few warriors (Chapman, GAblett, C.Cornes). It won't be long before they fear my spears more than your whips.

I don't have Franky or Delidio... (

And I do have Cornes...

I think it's you who is officially on the sauce...
