Im with ya there Glenno. Pav showed signs of his best last week in the derby. Bowden is doubtful for some stupid reason, if he gets dropped Pav may well kick 10.

Yeah interesting I've gone Corey but could go Heater. He should go very well against the Carlton forward line.

Think I just see Corey as a "safer" option.

Harvey (Brent variety) in SC... should go ballistic against the Demons.

Yeah but the ball won't go down into Carltons forward line for Heater to even get his hands on it, he probably won't see it all day.
It'd be stupid to go against Corey, so far none of Heaths score have beaten Coreys (maybe he did on the w.e?,not by much if he did), so why risk it. Heaths potential low would be a lot lower then Coreys, you know Corey is going to average at least a 100... I think that is pretty full proof.

Plus he is the most expensive player in your team for a reason... Can't fault the facts, that's the way I see it. And one last thing, St.Kilda have no major taggers/can't tag all of Geelongs midfield anyways, so chances are they won't try.
Where as it is a distinct possibility Carlton will try to quell Heaths run and rebound by paying close attention to him.
My 2 cents

Thursfield will go to Pav, and he was handy last week I though. I'm leaning towards him as well, but I wouldn't underestimate Thursty

No one has mentioned Scotty Thompson.... In his last few games against Hawthorn he has had:

34 touches in the Elimination final
39 touches in Rd 14, 2007

23 touches, 10 marks, 3 goals in Rd 15 2006

I'm deciding between he, Gablett, the Chad, or Dal Santo to silence the critics and have a huge one...

Considering Hall as a smokey, playing against a injured Glass at Telstra Stadium.

Im tossing between :

J Corey
D Cross
G Ablett
J Bartel

Thoughts would be appreciated!!!

:)

L.Fisher = the best tagger in the comp for 08

Saints vs Geelong and expect him to take either Ablett,Chapman,Bartel, Corey. I feel it will be either Chapman or Bartel but i think Chappy is the favourite on the HFF as S.Fisher enjoys the HBF. I would choose Cross as essendon play attacking footy and this means a high disposal game for both and crossy may be on the end of some work for easy goals. Rebound footy suits Cross and His marks could tally upto 10 or 12 with a nice 3 goasl and 34 posses :) (hes my Skip this week he better not let me down) dons have no taggers hopefully mcveigh doesnt play this week as a tagger. BJ will be doggies focus and plus westy wont steal Cross's ball but he usually gives it to him alot.

If anyone has Scott Thompson he'd be a lock for captain.
Don't say I didn't warn you.

Good points you make and I don't think I'll change from Corey but Carlton's midfield isn't that bad. I think they'll get it down there quite a bit and that's when Heater will clean up.
