Wouldn't mind seeing either Weedon or Newman in for Hams. He's turning into a one trick pony and just playing for frees. Also isn't that great defensively.

Apart from that:

In : Priddis - Rosa - Glass - Sheppard (if WAFL form permits)
Out : Dalziell - Stevens - Brown - Kerr (inj)

I don't think Weedon or Newman have done enough to deserve a call up yet. At some stage this season they'll get a go, but it shouldn't be against the Hawks in a very tough game. Need senior players with experience for the Hawks.

OUT Dalziell Stevens Brown Kerr ( INJ )

IN Priddis ?? Glass Rosa Neates or Stevens

See , i have manged Stevens as both an In and Out !

Neates kicked 3.1 for Claremont with 19 possessions .

I reckon people are a little harsh on Koby Stevens' game today - made some errors but did plenty of good things as well.

Outs: McGinnity, Brown, Dalziell (only because he is injured - would retain ahead of Stevens if fit).
In: Priddis, Glass, Rosa.

Butler delivered good numbers in the WAFL today but I think Smith might be just ahead of him still at present. If there is any doubt on Kerr's fitness though I would bring Butler in.

This.

Smith was some what disappointing IMO. There's a few other HB's lurking around...

I thought Smith was good today. His kicking was generally pretty good, kicked a good goal, did some very nice things defensively...

Hearing WCE are strongly thinking about debuting Jacob Brennan against the Hawks.

Also some doubt still over Priddis and Rosa.

would love to see Koby get a few games back to back and then make a judgement would be tough to fly to WSydney and play like a seasoned veteran after all this is his only his 9th game but has always been 1 game at a time ..So give him a game in perth as well .

without wanting to sound like a broken record, surely we'd be looking closely at hams' spot?

his lack of pace and lack of defensive pressure can possibly be covered, but he's shown a tendancy to be selfish, as well as far too frequently playing for free kicks.

his failure to hit up darling in the goal square is not the type of thing we want creeping into our game. perhaps time to make an example?

With ball in hand he is good and he isn't a pathetic defender, but he missed a couple of defensive efforts that resulted in shots on goal.

He wasn't Robinson Crusoe there though. ;)

What's with the hating on McGinnity? Had about 30 seconds of football to play before we well and truly took the foot off.

Anyway...

Out: Stevens, Dalziell, Brown
In: Priddis, Rosa, Glass

Butler needs to be in the team somewhere, but I can't see them bringing him in without an AFL run this year. Smith was fine today, the first week I haven't had him in my outs, so he'll probably get sacked or something knowing how well I predict these things.

Hams out for Brennan?

Brennan would be another option with Rioli and also has very good closing speed, run and carry.

What will be interesting is the Hawks style of moving the ball across half back and taking their time doing it.

Out: Brown, Daziell, Stevens, Hams

In: Glass, Priddis, Rosa, Brennan

Waters plays forward.

Dalziell will probably get cited anyway, even though some guy charged him with his head down and injured him. Thats the MRP these days.

Out: Dalziel, Brown, Stevens
In: Rosa, Glass, Priddis,

If Kerr's injured, who would replace him? Would Swift get a go? Or maybe keep in Stevens and replace Kerr with an extra defender who can also run & create off half back? (Stevenson or Brennan, though it's hard to see the MC blooding a newbie against Hawthorn).
