Like to bring in Taberner, but not really sure who would be an out then. Perhaps just go without changes, somehow think Hughes the most likely out as well, but wouldn't mind giving him a few games first...

Tabs was only ok today. McCarthy is still the better option.

Tucker for Spurr and Collins for Hughes IMO.

Don't change a winning team, well not after an emotional one like that. Tucker is the unlucky one to play in the first 2 games, then get dropped. He would surely be the only one considered, however I think it is a no brainer to give the same team another crack.

No changes. If any of those 6 we brought in tonight go out we are idiots. All of them had some flaws in their games but all of them played their roles and stepped up in important aspects - positives well and truly outweighed the negatives imo...

Crozier and Sheridan - where the **** have the two guys that came out tonight been for x years?
Grey and Balic - were in the top 4 for pressure which is the reason we won - Grey needs to work on his decision making but far out he was great to watch. I really liked Balic in the last quarter and would expect him to build.
Logue and Hughes - both solid defensively, Logue was equal 2nd for intercepts, Hughes had 5 score involvements (equal with Weller) including kicking the rebound 50 that ended in our first goal (by Grey) that got the ball rolling - and he created a few other transitions that should have ended in goals. Thought Hughes made good decisions but sometimes execution let him down and vice versa for Logue. It's hard being a defender because your mistakes are generally more visible and rarely forgotten - McCarthy had 7 clangers but nobody will be calling for him to be dropped ;)

Yeah! McCarthy out clanged Taberner tonight. Led well to the ball well though and always looked a danger. Hughes yet to impress but should stay in for another couple of games to properly assess.

Tabs and Tucker deserve to be ins but agree that it's hard to drop anyone. How did Ibbo go tonight?

Gawn out for a while with a Hammy.. not sure who they have waiting in the wings in the ruck dept. but if they have to pull Jack Watts back to the middle and with Hogan already out we can possibly go more mobile again down back.

Sheridan was noticeably more physical which has been absent in the past and Croz was more involved over the 4 quarters.
I'd say they've returned from the Peel hinterland with a harder edge.
Sunshine had the clangers which were often ugly but we've got enough people to whip.On another night he clunks them.
I liked the look of Logue,he'll grow into the game and will be a commanding and creative presence from the backline and also develop as a very handy utility I reckon.Utilities don't have to be bland.
Kersten improved again,this time significantly.
A lot to like and our crowd was great once again.

spencer is an ok ruck and should come in

Melbourne were really very good against Geelong today. Had a lot more scoring shots but no kicking boots on.

Must have hit a wrong button there.
Can't imagine why people would suggest Collins come into the side. Bit of Zac clone, spoils well but not much else.

No changes.

Melbourne will likely swap Spencer in for Gawn so we can use MJ as the 2nd ruck. I don't think they have many other moves to make or injuries to cover? Already without Lewis & Hogan so we can challenge them.

Give Logue, Grey, Balic, Hughes a game on the G.

I am not completely sold on Johnson being the backup ruckman, although he competed ok at times, not really tall enough.
Down the track I suppose A Pearce/ The ape may be considered. Darcy will develop.

Out: Pearce

Taberner is the obvious choice and the club knows it, is training him with this role in mind.

I would say no changes unless we got an injury during the game. Still... Melbourne at the MCG will be a tough one, for some blokes, it will be the 1st time they will play there.
