for Supercoach shitness !! What. A. Week.

After my internet unexpectedly died on Friday, log on to read through this thread to see how my team did. Optimistic knowing my real gamble trade in Westhoff played well and the rest of my team has been going great.
What do I read...

1. Vice captain JPK (who I couldn't change) scores my lowest captain score of all time (4-5 yrs of SC) while Bartel gets less than 70 (It's OK I tell myself, I can come back from here).

2. Macaffer played and was captain (for loophole) smashing my overnight record of worst captain's score. To make matters worse, with my premium forward line, that left Westhoff (easily top scorer of the week) on the bench . (you can come back from 1 bad week I say)

3. Continue through thread and every premium being complained about is in my side - Cox, Pendles, Jacobs, Leuey, JPK, JJK, etc, etc. (oh oh I say - but there are high standards on here and I have 1 or 2 well performing PODS and good rookies)

4. I read on and I have 100+ scores on my midfield bench for the fourth week in a row. (as long as the playing rookies do well, doesn't matter) - midfield rookies combine for 45 points!! (now I' really worried - at least NSW CROW will give me a laugh).

5. NSW does post and has scored 1985 - he he. I've never gone below 2000 except 1 round a couple of years ago when StK/Haw/Freo withdrew half their side and I had about 7 donuts - even then I surpassed 1985 I'm pretty sure. With 22 in this week, no way I can get below that.

No coming back from the perfect Supercoach storm - particularly with the effect it will have on prices (too early to look to next year? )

Lesson: SC is like life sometimes...things going great and then everything that can go wrong does, changing your course completely. When that happens, throw caution to the wind, make some risky/bold moves and enjoy the rollercoaster ride.

2360 for me this round. Had Cloke's monster 195 and Swanny as Skip(Huge shout out to Toxic!!!). Even with Viney's 9 im now sitting 1k odd after being 10k odd before the round

I'm down to somewhere around 13,000

It's been a horror few weeks. I always have one or two premiums have a shocker. I think the team I have is capable of big scores but they aren't putting it together.

Hopefully now with Birchall in there I will get some better scores. I brought in Buddy and Walker last week and they both scores a collective 100 odd more than who they replaced ... yet my score sent went backwards. It's confusing.

This week I'll probably be going Viney>Evans and Macaffer>Mayes. Then next week I'll have enough cash to swap Neade for the Hoff.
