Ok why does the Bont get points for turning up to the stadium? And why does Naughton take an intercept mark hit his target and go backwards in points?
I mean, Bont is averaging 97 in SC so far this season, not exactly world beating numbers. But I understand where you're coming from.
Points are drastically affected by state of the game, contested element, whether it's an intercept or not, and whether it's part of a scoring chain (e.g. an assist or whatever). You'll find in that third quarter where Bont went big, game was basically level, took a contested mark inside 50 and kicked a goal. If that was in the 1st quarter with scores level, he'd score less points for that. But as it was late in the third and game on, the weighting system allocated points as such.
If scores are level late in this last term, something as minute as an effective spoil from Naughton will net something like 10 points depending on how many of the total points have been allocated.
I'm half watching this dogs game, I didn't see the instance where Naughton lost points or that play live, are you watching the points on something like Fanfooty or proper live SC points?
