One of Cowan and Cincotta will play pretty much all year barring injury. Only real competition for that 7th defender spot is Boyd who is a few months away.

Neither will be impacted by the return of Walsh, Acres, Kennedy or anyone else that isn't a defender.

Cottrell has a case but he will no way get that spot over Acres. His disposal efficiency kills him. He will get the spot if Hollands gets tired late in the season as most rookies do. Cotts is good depth but limited ability wise.
