I'd normally agree, but we have old Clarko back - saving them for the all-important 2nd half is Sleepy Al.Darling trembath larkey zurhaar and coleman all starting? Sick.
The hottest starting player the last 2 weeks is on the pine? Sick.
I dont wish to lose but thats not the best starting 18 on that team sheet. Good to see we are giving it our best shot from the first bounce. Wardlaw Parker and Duursma on the bench? Sick
…. Which ones are coming out?Stick with them in the first half and blow them out of the water in the second half.
It’s the coming out party - us from years in the doldrums
Us members…. Which ones are coming out?
I reckon by half time i’ll be signing up for a 3 gamerUs members
When is your big announcement of which membership you’re getting
A GDT started by Gaso can't possibly be bad.
This might seem winnable on paper but there is much that is not in our favour:
- Xerri out really hurts us
- Newman and Cerra in helps them
- They have backs to the wall, we have our internal fragility, no matter how we dress it up
On the plus side:
- Daniel and Parker proving why we got them
- BGZ starting to believe in himself
- FOS already tracking to be elite before he's even out of his teens
- Backline starting to gel
- Dovaston will be brilliant in time but Banch in is an upgrade at the moment
- Larkey is thriving as captain
All of that said, there is no great confidence about this one at all.
North by 2 +/- 60 points![]()
And George Hewett destroyed us last Good Friday game. I'm more worried about someone like him or Cerra having 30+ possessions. The focus will be on Cripps and Walsh, but we will need a combined team effort to win the midfield. Carlton likes a contested ball game, but it can drop away in the second halves of games, when it finally opens up.A GDT started by Gaso can't possibly be bad.
