Firstly, did anyone say that?
Secondly did you actually watch their game today? They were clearly advantaged by some deplorable decisions in the last 10 minutes of the game when it looked like it was possibly slipping away from them, something many would agree is not the first time it's happened in recent years.

Not necessarily. Sydney and Carlton have similar number with uncontested footy. It's still what you do with it.

I agree, but I think our focus on contested possession is no longer as relevant as it once was. Melbourne are a side who seem to play an uncontested brand so the game is really the perfect test. If they do what St Kilda did to us then I think it will prove that our approach is outdated.

Don't think so. We were trying to apply a zone, very poorly. The uncosted possession stat is becoming more relevant and it is one that we are consistently low in.
