Ballard is a big loss but Townsend, Hunt and Couch who didn't play the 2nd half last week, should improve us significantly from last week in contested ball. Got smashed against Frankston in that area.

Would like our players to actually play consistently good football at this level. Chol played well last week so ffs back it up this week. McBean is a huge offender in this area... matchwinner to unsighted too often. Lennon should be tearing it up at this level....

Seems to be a concerning lack of motivation from the players at VFL level. Can't really explain why when the opportunity to get in the AFL side should be at an all time high. Anyway let's hope a few of the boys dominate and create some selection headaches next week.

If our AFL season is over pretty early which looks that way I would love to see Chol elevated at some point just to give him a taste of AFL.
