Shhh, the sleeping giant won't like you saying thatAll I'm saying is that Collingwood and Hawthorn are genuine top 4 and flag contenders. Richmond are not at this point.
We have 70 000 members.
Rain wasn't forecast yesterday.
5-day forecasts are about as accurate as Brian Taylor's commentary.
33k? Try 40. Why would the crowd be low? It should be a cracking game.West Coast vs. Carlton - 33pts - Carlton have only had a couple of wins in the last ten years at Subi. Both teams aren't traveling super well, spirits are low, but Carlton's I feel would be lower. I think the crowd will be even lower say around 33k should cover it.

He also slipped up on this-33k? Try 40. Why would the crowd be low? It should be a cracking game.
In fact the biggest crowd for the Tigers and pies for a H & A game was in 1971 which was 82K.
Is there a thread on the main board where there is no mention of crowds or membership numbers by the Richmond supporters? Honestly, you guys are way too obsessed with those two topics.

Three absolute certainties this week
(1) Hawthorn to totally demolish Fremantle by plus 80 points -Freo looked like the old Fremantle last week -a rabble -they are in for one hell of a shock this week
(2) North Melbourne to annihilate Brisbane by plus 70 points -Why -because Brisbane are No Good whatsoever
(3) Collingwood to thrash Richmond by 10 goals plus . Pies 1st half last week was very good -but Hawthorns last quarter was out of this world . Richmond are going to find out the hard way -that to be a top 4 side -you need more than -a few elite onballers -an honest ruckman -a good full forward -and a handy full back
Sydney V Geelong: 28 points. (28,000)
Hawthorn v Fremantle 19pts (13,000)
Richmond v Collingwood 8pts (86,000)
St Kilda v Essendon 25pts (36,000)
West Coast Eagles v Carlton 42pts (31,000)
Gold Coast Suns v Port Adelaide 29pts (11,000)
Melbourne v GWS Giants 20pts (17,000)
Adelaide Crows v Western Bulldogs 50pts (30,000)
North Melbourne v Brisbane Lions 20pts (18,000)

Every week there's always a richmond fan sooking about crowds.
Round 18 2011. 62pts v GeelongI think we'll win, but we're missing some very good players (possibly even Pendlebury if the rumours eventuate), and the Tiges haven't lost by that much in a fair while...
Take the chance then. $$$Does anyone else think the betting odds for these games are a little over the top?
Three in particular: Freo at $5 to beat hawks, Bulldogs at $6.50 to beat Adelaide and Brisbane at $3.50 to get over North. Just seems long odds because I consider all three of those teams to have a chance in each game.

Because they're on a roll and have more supporters perhaps ? You must be young.
In 2011 and 2012 Collingwood-Hawthorn drew 84,000 (with no rain)
Collingwood and Hawthorn both have more members than Richmond (16,000 and 4,000 more to be precise)...and for that matter are far, far more successful clubs historically (not just over the last 30 years, look at their flags/years ratios)
Lets see if you can match this, if you do you'll go far!
