Made a list of the debuting players this week. Prices for Fantasy (sorry RDT).

Defense
Tippett, North, $115k
Cutler, Brisbane, $176k
Bruce, Saints, $278k

Midfield
Ellis-Yolmen, Adelaide, $115k
Van Unen, Essendon, $115k
Gray, Port, $115k
Robertson, Brisbane, $173k
Towers, Sydney, $179k (fwd)
Cripps, Carlton, $230k

Ruck
Nankervis, Sydney, $170k

Forward
Lloyd, Richmond, $135k
Nahas, North, $178k
Towers, Sydney, $179k (mid)
Paine, Brisbane, $180k
Lamb, GWS, $243k

Looking at that, there's nobody I'll be jumping on this week. Won't make any money off Rohan or Ambrose unless I trade to Lloyd (complete unknown).

Will most likely jump on Crouch and Tippett next week. It'll be interesting to see how Ellis-Yolmen, Van Unen and Gray go, they are at a great price!

With Roberton and Cripps named this week there might be at least one mid downgrade target next week.

True, but in Fantasy to get the full benefit you need to pick them before they've played - otherwise miss risking out on a big early rise....

DT trades:

errgh... I have amborse/rohan/jkh, might have to bring in taylor, can't be sure of jkh/rohan getting full games

eerrrghh.... I also have McEvoy (out again), great, means hickey will be covering him ( so either 20 or 100 for me this week). Would love to drop BigMack but don't want to waste the trade.

eeerrgghhh.... I also have sheed still, might hold him for yet another week, can always grab Crouch or someone next round, and who knows he might get a full game this week and tonne up! (yeeaahhh-nah)

And the luxury of sideways trading a premo before price/rise drops if there is no cash cow trade required
True, but as everyone is in the same boat everyone does the same thing, nearly everyone I played from round 14-15 onwards last season had at least 15-16 common players with me.

Hopefully Hickey fires up again this week (to be fair though Minson only got 55 I think against WCE in round 1 and Spencer got 26 the week after, 1 of WCEs game plans is surely ruck orientated based on this), he and Titchell screwed me last week.

RDT:
Michie > KK
Rohan > Taylor

or

Michie > Taylor

Weighing up whether to do a second trade. Already used 3 up since the start of the season. Don't really want to be down to 25 so soon. Plus there seems to be some good rookies coming through. Crouch next week. Cutler, Robertson, Paine, Cripps, Lloyd the following fortnight. Plus even only doing 1 trade means I'll still have 320K+ in the bank. I'm not exactly struggling for cash.

Trying to decide similar here, though 2 trades will only drop me down to 27.

Walters > Merret

and then there's Michie  ATM I've gone Michie > KK

Can't see Michie playing anytime soon but would I be better off saving a trade by holding off until I can cash in a rookie, 1 trade for a rookie and premium but its a good few weeks with someone not playing just to save one trade?

Any one else think its crazy to trade Tyson out for Crouch? Itll make about 120k profit and I''m hoping they'll average close to the same for the next 4-5 weeks with Adelaide's easy draw he could even average more. He scored 69 after coming on as a sub in second qtr last week so I see huge potential, anyone else see it?

I'd trade Polec or Ellis out before Tyson, Polec is an outside player = better SC output, Ellis is a defender he'll probably only average 70. If you're looking for a quick fix then by all means do it but use the money wisely.

Is it just me or is it impossible to make DPP trades this year? 3 outs in my forward line so looking to trade one out for a defender & move Watts into the forward line, have they changed the rule now or what??

Final trades...

Titch-> Merrett
SJ -> Rockliff

Thinking behind it is - $$$...with current rookies and new formula for pricing in Fantasy - making piles of cash isn't happening, need to get on good BEs and take what I can get

Also gives me money in the bank so I've got options when shuffling rookies over the next couple rounds. You'd want a buffer when dealing with Langford, Frost, Rohan etc. - these guys could be a trap if you're forced to downgrade them to crappy $115k players with no JS.... - I want to be able to jump on more expensive rookies (eg. McDonald, Kade.Kaleidoscope) if nothing else is looking worthwhile.

If thinking the same type of thing titch > merrett and cunningham > crouch was gonna trade hunter to merrett but hunter will make more money and he could score well against g-dubs

Have a look in the last few posts of the 'General Questions' thread. I think someone figured it out.

  • 1st trade: LeCras > Merrett LOCKED
  • 2nd trade: which one?
    -R.Shaw > KK/Hibberd
    -Cunningham > M.Crouch
    -Cox > Mumford

Or a 0.... :L

RDT:
Just Michie > Taylor. Will pass on KK, McDonald and Langdon are going great and Georgiou and Langford haven't had the price rise to justify the trade. Will bench Hickey and play Currie for a week. Hickey still some $$$ to make.

Taylor to be M10 for a week. A bad score from Caddy, Mitchell or Cloke this week will see them traded to Matt Crouch and Taylor will move into the forward line with an upgrade from Rohan > Premium likely as the second trade next week.

Somebody please convince me to go Caddy > Zorko in DT.

Caddy has to go sooner or later, and Zorko should be a keeper....
which will NET more points u reckon?
  • KK + Polec
  • Griffiths + M.Crouch
also, start griffiths or langdon?

Coin flip between Langdon and Griffiths, but with Hampson back in I's go Langdon.

As for net points, Griffiths/Crouch
