Wondering what everyones thoughts on Curnow or Ah Chee in the forward line are?

Worth a punt or do people who follow those sides think they may fizz?

Thoughts on going the early crow and bringing in Petracca for Hewett? I know Petracca isn't playing this week, but neither is Hewett and the truck will give me another FWD/MID link. It's either this or no trades this week (unless someone sees something worth considering!). 180k to spend, team is as followed.

DEF: JJ, Laird, Rance, Shaw, Weitering, Dea
EMER: Hartley, Tippa

MID: Danger, Ablett, Priddis, Pendles, Shiel, Kerridge, Mills, Menadue
EMER: Davis, Hewett, Gresham

RUCK: Gawn, Martin
EMER: Wyatt

FWD: Hall, M.Adams, Wells, Martin, Kennedy, Papley
EMER: Milera, Brown

I would look to re-invest some of that 180k into an on-field mid cash cow that can average 80+ and still make another 150-200k
Hewett > Parish would sure up your midfield so you don't have to start one of Menadue/Davis. Put the E on Menadue though and disregard this post if he tonnes up.

Another one of the berndwergern wondering if Hartley is worth a trade to get in.

I feel like two non playing rookies is too much, so maybe yes.

But I hate seeing my amount of trades go down.

Depends on who you're looking at trading out

Was all set on making no trades this week, but now an second-guessing myself. Turned Rocky > Zaharakis last week as I felt Zaharakis (who was averaging 130-odd and priced at $405k) might relish the extra responsibility, and might serve as a money-maker for 6 weeks or so. Now (after only 1 week, and a $54k price increase), I just don't like the look of my side with him in it, and am so tempted to bring in L Parker before his price is outta reach. Have 28 trades + $209k, ranked 4265.

B: H Shaw, Laird, Johannisen, Adams, Dea, Hartley (M Borwn & Wagner)
M: Danger, GAJ, S Mitchell, Zaharakis, Libba, BenKen, Oliver, R Davis (Hewett, Gresham & Keays)
R: Goldstein, Blicavs (Grimley)
F: Montagna, Dalhaus, D Martin, Franklin, Kerridge, MacTip (Papley & Menadue)

The $200k is burning a hole in my pocket, particularly as my mids seem a bit weak in comparison with other teams listed.
Should I stick with my original plan of waiting it out with Zaharakis and let him earn me some coin (and hopefully average around 100-115ppg in the interim), or turn him into Parker (or someone else) before they become inaccessible?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

I think trading Zaharakis to Parker is a waste of a trade now, but if you had the spare cash you definitely should have done that trade last week.... You live and you learn

So your basically saying you paid 400K for a cash cow ? Lol just keep upgrading around him. Absolute waste to trade him out.

I would keep zaharakis.
No trades this week.
Menapoo to ruggles or another rookie next week use that cash to turn a rookie in a gun mid either next week or the week after.

Nice team btw.

Don't panic. Your forward line is probably stronger than most. Rucks are good. Back line apart from missing Weitering is solid. I'd stick with Zaharakis. Why trade him in one week and out the next when he is scoring?
I doubt many people despite all the trading have actually advanced their sides at this stage in terms of total number of keepers. Moreso fixing up a couple initial errors

So I've gone and brought in both Parker and Gray, for Hewett and Shiel. May change my before the round starts. Really gone after the super premo mids, with a chance my M1-6 could end up the best 6 scoring mids at seasons end.

Defence and forwards are a little light on typical premo selections, but I feel like some of the rookies and mid pricers could be keepers. Adams and Wells will probably be keepers up forward at this rate which would mean only 2 more upgrades, while Weitering looks a chance to be one down back. And I feel like Lonergan and Sheridan have the potential to significantly up their scoring.

I think getting rid of Sheil is a mistake. You can pick up Parker later on. I wouldnt bank on sheridan and Lonergran to be keepers so even banking on Weitering as keeper and wells you still have 7 upgrades, which worst case is 9 and therefore 18 trades. Better off doing Sheil to Parker once the rest of your side is set.

Lincoln should get more games he's had injury problems in the past played the last 3 games and played in all the NAB games prob just getting a rest.
Gregson was dropped last week I don't think he did anything wrong.
How is Menzels JS rocker?

Rich to Byrne
Cripps to Danger

$230k in the bank

Need to get Parker, Laird and Montagna in soon.
I think you are throwing trades away there. Sure they could be seen as upgrades and downgrades, but Rich and Cripps aren't immediate concerns.
