Got Hibbered, but might actually hold him and cull one of Pickett/Barrett/Parfitt for Newman via DPP.

Having hibbered as a loophole could be handy, at least for a week or 2 until Berry or some other mid comes in

Yep not ideal. One option for me would be to get rid of Strnadica to get Newman in. Need that loophole donut though

That being said, with Lever back in the side and Jenkins only out for 1 week, Otten could find himself out next week, despite how good he's been. Hampton is also on the fringe, a bad game and he's gone. Stewart looks pretty safe for now I reckon, plays his role down back.

Did two trades this week, mainly to generate $$$$ ......do i keep wasting trades just to get the $$ where it's a sideways trade like Smith to Newman ?

Probably prefer to downgrade and get the $$ savings PLUS the Rookie appreciation $$ ......will have to think hard about Newman, as Otten, Stewart, and Hampton are not ready to moo yet?

Smith gone for months. Unless you want him for loopholing that is exactly what I would do. Newman looks like a must have rookie after two weeks.

Lets say Newman increases next week by $60K ? .......would rather downgrade lets say Hampton on $200K to Newman and get the $140K ......but Hampton and Otten, not ready to be downgraded, so i might stay out next week on Newman ......might?

Go with your gut. I will be trading Hibberd for him next week. Can't see him getting a game any time soon and he's not much good for a loop hole option, so no point in keeping him. Don't want to trade out Hampton or Otten at this stage. Still lots of cash to make.
