What are peoples thoughts on Adam Cooney? Has teared it up in the opening few rounds and at 525k is still considered a value pick of sorts. Has he been getting tagged though? If not i imagine teams will start to realise he can turn games and look to shut him down. And yes - this would be a possible Stanton replacement. The kid is a dud. And imo won't be considered 'elite' at any course of this season. Thoughts?

Probably not Kornes, as his breakeven this week is ~200 (I should know, I got him )

Cooney has played vs teams that dont have any great taggers.
He wont play any teams with a good tagger until round 7.
(Maybe Kane Johnson round 5)
Worth getting i reckon.

If Browny scores 100 in his next two games he will drop to about 470k.

Thats when I'll be getting him. If he has a huge game next week (>150) and is playing a jabroni team the following week I may consider picking him up then.

He's pencilled in for Round 6.

IMO you should use the money to upgrade a weak spot in your team first.
Plus Thomas is playing Carlton this week so its not like hes going to get a bad score.

Have currently got Cox & Simmonds in the Ruck ,with Hampson & Renouf as emergencies. Am thinking of taking a punt and downgrading Simmonds to Kruezer, as that (with $ already in the bank) would free me up to grab a super-gun for my midfield. Pretty risky though as it's a big ask for a 1st year Ruckman to pull decent scores all year. Made even more risky with this injury to Cox.

The more I think about it, the stupider it seems. Thoughts?

Weighing up whether or not I should dump Jetta for Gamble, although I'm a little worried about Gambles non-inclusion from last Sundays game and his injury prone history.

If Jetta had of gone down a week before I would have had the coin to pickup Hill.

It's a toughy... but you definitely need to look at the state of the rest of our cows as well.

Definitely wait until the prognosises are out for both guys before locking into anything.

I'm near certain that west wont play this week who do you think would be a good replacement, i'm thinking of keeping West and trading one of my rookies for Palmer who is looking fair good.

I assume you mean Scotty West? Hasn't he been in good form? How long is he out for? Am I missing something?

hes been in great form, he is getting knee surgery, i want to get someone that is consistent as west or should i keep west and trade masten for palmer and put palmer on and west on the bench for 2 weeks?

I'd definately keep him.

If Masten is on your bench don't waste the trade, Masten will get more games this year.

It doesn't matter. If he's on your bench I assume he is a cash cow. I also assume you have more than just Masten as a cash cow. I think Masten will come back in the next couple of weeks, however he won't be a regular unless he puts in a few good games.

He will make you money. Chillax. Not worth using up a trade on a sideways rookie trade if the rookie you're trading out will more than likely play a few more games.
