i'm thinking of trading out brad johnson for another gun, is this a wise option? is it better to stick with BJ?

i wld assume u picke bj and thought he wld be a keeper all year??

dnt trade him.. he is a star just gotta have faith.. if u trade him i gutantee he will get a 100.. just the way it is

Im going to trade njones to palmer this week which will get me 285k. I currently have nicoski in the backline who i want to trade. This leaves me with 530k to spend. What are ur guys thoughts on a 530k back. My options in considering are waters/kenelly + $, or wait till next week for nicoski to go up a little in value or gilbee to go down. At the moment im 9k short of gilbee.

Trades I am looking at this week is -
D.Pearce out - Palmer in
B.Reid out - Hill in
Cash in bank approx.$275k after doing the above.
Have 19 trades left ATM.

Pearce has already lost 37k:( & if gets his avg. this week(which is only about 55) will lose another 27k.
Reid to hill, was going to do this trade last week but got put off because Reid was named (then a late change:mad:) Now it's going to cost me an extra 116k:( but i can still see the positives in the trade;)

the fact that johnson is out for a month or so you would have to think that he would finnaly get a go

I would stick with him as he is too good a player to get rid of.You will want to trade him back in once he starts scoring well again which would be a waste of a trade

Thanks but do you think he will get a game the next two weeks?
I am not so sure of that. Sellwoods debut was pretty impressive 1st up whereas Masten was pretty ordinary so right now Sellwood is in front of him and looms to be a better cash cow at this stage

I'm considering trading Jetta out for Josh Hill which would leave me with around 100k. Are there better prospects now that he has almost doubled in price? I suppose given that he is on track to keep rising in price he is still worth it. Thoughts?

I'd also know what to do about Steve Johnson, I'm not concerned overly with his price dropping, but what is the plan if he keeps going the way he is? My plan is to keep him for 3 or so more rounds and reassess. At his current price with 129k in the bank I can trade him for any gun forward (Johnson, Chapman, Reiwoldt, Franklin) - I already have Pav/Brown. Even though I picked him as a keeper, and I know trades are valuable, there isn't much point waiting for him to lose value if that's where I think he's going....(his BE is 139)

I'm reasonably happy with my cows: Rioli/Palmer/Kreuzer/Proud/Gamble/Houli/Meesen/Selwood/Geary/Jetta - does this list change my Hill decision at all?

Havent used any trades yet, but thinking of trading hansen->Pfeiffer/taylor
As he is the only player not getting games, thus far. but perhaps its a bit hasty and to much of a waste..Oh well.

I'm in the same situation in DT, don't think i have Hansen is SC.

But anyway I'm going to keep him because it doesn't effect your scores and assuming he eventually gets a game it's good to have a cash cow peak much later in the season. If all of your cash cows peak at rd 7 then you'll run out of people to trade them down to. If your cash cows peak at different times then you should be able to find a worthy rookie on 2/3 games to trade down to in any given week.

True, As long as he gets a few games eventually. But the mids/forwards are looking good to be able to make money off cash cows, the others look more like backups/slow cashcows. Players like coughlan, armitage, cotchin will be good pickups midseason, when trading down other cashcows.

Was planning to go stanton to priddis this week so now thats a bit out of whack. Is this a sign from the supercoach god above to stick with stants? meh ill probably still get rid of him.

I had just finished posting an entire bloody essay about my trading dilemmas, and mentioned that the above might be a possibilty, when I read the news.

Look out for word on Cooney next
