I'm more concerned by this bit...

The Eagles may also be without ruckman Dean Cox for Saturday's ANZ Stadium showdown with Sydney as the big man recovers from ligament damage in his right foot.

Looks like I'll have a ruck emergency for the first time this week...
m
Yep, I've been hoping all week that West will play. :D

Good to see that he should be able to cover Cox for the possible duration. (0-2 weeks)... But yeah, definitely set your ruck emergencies this week...

This Priddis thing is a blessing in disguse for the people that don't have him...

It means he'll be ripe for picking up during the upgrade rounds. :D

all so great for me as i hope it allows masten to cement hes spot and score 110+ every week :D

im looking at trading tipett this week, and ill have 635k to spend...

O'keefe or pavlich? any suggestions? or other options?

should i get rid of stanton? because he will go down even more unless he gets over 100, which looks unlikely .(and ive lost all confidence in him)

how much more will dal santo go down? i have the cash to get him now for stanton, and even have the cash to get jimmy for him

are their better options than trading in dal for stanton?

Gave myself a flurry of uppercuts - last week thought about trading Dew for Hill and then upgrading Lovett-Murray to Milburn (#!%*ing wish I had have done it - to stubborn trying to keep trades, which I didn't do last year)

Anyone think this is still worth it? IMO Hill will still go up at least as much as Dew - probably more if he keeps playing like he is.

Personally, Pav - will/should be classy all year. But in saying that O'Keefe has got off to a flyer - don't know if he can maintain that sort of form all year though.

If you don't have Brown or Riewoldt - just wait a few weeks and they will be pure bargains

Dunno much about the NLM - Milburn transfer (seems alright though), but Hill should deffo go higher than Dew in the short/medium term at least.

I want to get rid of N.Jones which gives me 400k to play with. I'm currently looking at Bateman or Osbourne both been averaging good numbers.

Who would you go for? any other suggestions?

Neither. If you can't afford a gun then get a rookie because either option will cost you another upgrade trade and there are some decent rookies out there at the moment who will give you close enough points over a few weeks. I'm not sold on either Bateman or Osborne but I could be wrong.

I know this is SC and not DT but this is a summary of Osborne's career (possessions averaged and games played):

Games played are in brackets

2001 - 3 - (2)
2002 - 7 - (1)
2003 - 12 - (19)
2004 - 9 - (17)
2005 - 14 - (19)
2006 - 15 - (4)
2007 - 12 - (14)
2008 - 21 - (3)

History, you would think, would suggest he will not maintain his current form.

Don't know Bateman well enough, but Nathan Jones has real ability so I personally wouldn't write him off just yet.

I could do Nico to Roughead this week. I have a really crapy backline.
Should i do this kind of trade now or wait it out another week or so?

Cox being under a cloud and Hampson out will force me into a sideways trade being Meeson out, Kreuzer in. Why the **** i got Meeson insted of West only my stupid brain knows.

I was going to do Dyson to Palmer but I'm seriously considering another sideways trade in Geary to Palmer. I see Geary becoming the next S.D.Thomspon (btw **** you Laidley) and I would rather piss him off now.

Sigh.

Stupid game.

I am after some advice with the two trades I will make this week.

I have 278 in the cap plus

Nicoski, J Graham, S Thompson, L Hansen.

I am therefore looking at two zeroes. If I trade Nik and Graham I will have 787 to spend.

My thoughts are to bring in a gun and a rookie (say gilbee and H taylor) but am wondering if Ladson or Dodd might be better, slightly cheaper and should be capable of scoring 90+ for the rest of the year.

Or would S Selwood be better than Taylor, or NJ Brown.?

Thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

i'm going to upgrade one of my backman... deciding between mattner and roughead... mattner will be more consistant, but roughead has been good so far... thoughts?
