I think you're paying $70,000 for a $50,000 price rise.

I think you're being a tad stingy, considering he's averaging 131 ATM. What about the extra points he will likely score this week compared to a rookie who might not even score enough to make their projected 50k+ price rise?

Kruze to Leuenberger
Toumpas to Crouch.
Really spewing about Toumpas as I moved the earth to get him into my team. That together with trading McEvoy to Kruzer and Duffield to Dixon have really turned my team sour. Thinking of going Kruz back to McEvoy but don't know whether Leuey worth the risk or not.

In hindsight a lot of us are wishing we'd made the trade last week, but essentially it's a stepping stone to a SJ/Franklin in the Forwards for me. As soon as his performances start to drop or his BE becomes unobtainable, I'll be swapping him and and taking the cash. If he rises to $525K, I might be able to get Buddy plus some change.

And in effect, I'm trading up from Karnezis to get there... It's not all bad....

What's the logic in trading Kruezer for Leuenberger? Do people think he can punch out big scores this year? I haven't looked at game time so maybe he is being eased into things. I feel more inclined to find an extra 20k for a Goldstein type who will probably get me at least an extra 20 points per round.

won't give you 20+ ppg imo. in average, probably more like 10 and thats just assuming things go to plan.

Well that's assuming Leuenberger improves, which is what I was getting at. Everyone's getting on board so I'm assuming you expect him to do better that 73 per round.

As injuries have kicked my teams arse and Zorko needs to GTFO of my team trades are:

Kruze > Rowe
Zorko > Rockliff

Gives me 302k in the bank, shifted patton to the bench and will trade him out next week

Is Dane Swan really worth his price tag? The few that stand out to me are Swallow, Pendlebury and Cotchin who can match Swan at the moment. You can save over 120k, plus Swan is playing a heavier in and under role so far. Hence his increased tackle but decreased possession rate. Post reasons if you disagree.

really considering trading gazza if he plays or not. then bring him back when his price is around 580,000 ish

I don't think the savings you'll make are worth dropping him for. Means that you are also taking away a trade that you may need for injuries in a couple weeks or so, better to stick with him if you already have him.

For example pal. Ablett scores 80 points and has a large fall in price Round 6. His price is at 570k and you want to bring him back in but 2 of your players were injured that week. Or even Ablett scores 120+ every game just after you take him out (which we all know he can do).

Probably better to not risk a dilemma like that so you can continue to win games + look for cash opportunities ;)

Kreuz and Waters out thanks to injury. I'm torn as to options though. I must get a defender as I chose the wrong Def rookies.

Kreuz > Goldstein, Waters > Heppell/Hanley
Pretty straightforward sideways trades

OR Kreuz > Burger, Waters > Birchall

OR Kreuz > LeCras (Rowe DPP's), Waters > Heppell/Hanley/Birchall

How I see it is, Burger is not going that much better than Rowe, so it's Burger's price rise, vs Lecras's. On the other hand, Goldstein should have another good game vs Lions, plus he's got a good few weeks ahead of him.

ARGH! This one is doing my head in! I unfortunately have to miss Hodge's boat this week due to me also having Varcoe injured, and has to be benched. Sigh.

Yes but in a couple of weeks you will want to be upgrading. Having to trade Ablett back in means you only have one other trade that week.

Just want to know peoples thought on a Maric to Luenburger trade. Maric averaging only 10 points per game more than Burgs and has a BE 119 as opposed to Bergs -9. The extra 250k could be handy for upgrades down the track

I'm pulling the trigger on this trade this week.
Hopefully go Viney to Watson in 2 weeks time using my 300k in the bank.

sorry im just in a good position. all players firing bar roughy and ablett. trade both. got lots of cash. got a 6 premium midfield going well. if one slips up ..... back to ablett between rds 5-6

Am I crazy in trading Nick Riewoldt to Justin Westhoff?

Or am I better off doing Kommer to Crouch and then Stevens to Rowe by switching Neade into my forwards?

Want to get rid of Zorko and Mumford

Options are

Zorko / Mumford -> Rowe (+54,300) / SinClair (+47,500) or go for the premo swap and get Martin (+24,300) / Cloke (+25,400) / GoldStein (+25,400)

What do people think is the better approach to try and make extra money in the short term for the long term gain. Or go say 1 premo / 1 rookie. I have 300k in the bank atm so i could afford to upgrade both. I feel this year is alot like trading the stock market and making money where you can for the end of the season and finals in league.

Hodge will cop a hard tag this week

Have gone
Kreuze - goldsmith
Patton - westhoff

Just waiting to see which starting player cops an injury or the vest this week
No round to date has let me down in one, the other or both

doing k. Stevens to hodge
kreuzer to Sinclair

have 450k in bank for
pittard to hartlett
patton to Robinson
next week

if projections given are somewhat accurate!
if I fall a few k short for robbo.. cloke is tickling my fancy

Ended up going

Docherty -> Terlich
Varcoe -> Sinclair (I think NN is a fair while away giving Sinclair enough weeks to get his price up to something decent) If info comes out differently in the next few days I will go Rowe

Means I miss out on Hodge but atm apart from Mitchell there are no midfielders I really want to get rid of him for, preferring to instead change other aspects of the team

Finally able to retire Daw from the side, who replaces him = Sinclair or Rowe?

I'm partial to Sinclair having seen him play in person, but think Rowe's job security has skyrocketed in Kreuzer's absence

I'd go Rowe.. I already have Rowe in fwds so getting Sinclair in ruck with cox gives me versatility.. nicnat out for several more weeks.. should hold his position til then and by that time be suitably fat enough to cash up to another premo ruck

I could go kreuzer to another premo ruck this week.. but I'm just not impressed with any bar cox at the moment.. I may even get kreuzer back if his injury is only for the 4 weeks they are saying.. he will drop a bit in price too

trades are use em or lose em this year so I don't think it is a waste.. in years gone by I would have held kreuz and benched the 400k he is worth.. stupid to do that this year!
