If we're gonna bomb it, our multitude of tall forwards need to mark it, or it needs to be crumbed. Neither of which has happened (and sadly doesn't hasn't in the AFL for years)
bauer needs to ****ing stop trying speccys. hes taking 1-2 of our forwards out of the contest and knocking them to the ground.

Not saying he's good, but for those who didn't get a chance to watch, it's nice to know information beyond 'awful'.

Definitely way too tall as a team, particularly when they opted to go small and the rain fell a bit.
I watched it and he is not a footballer. Most of those handballs were nothing possessions that didn’t hit a target meaningfully. He shouldn’t be on our list

Colina could be so much more. At the moment he doesn't trust his marking and always seems to go for the tap on rather than take possession or mark the ball. He was the dominant ruck but really should be more than just a tapman, he could be a real presence around stoppages too.

When Sonsie was taken out of the game, we lost our polish and drive through the middle. I really liked what Smilie did when they had the ball but I'm not sure he deserves a gig at AFL just quite yet. Needs a couple more weeks to build up his tank.

Off the back of todays game - Sonsie and McAullife deserve the next opportunity. Questions need to be asked - what is different to the role Sonsie is playing at AFL compared to VFL, because to get 35 in three quarters was amazing. Play him in the middle even if it means playing Taranto forward or giving Dow a rest. He needs a real shot.

Sims needs to mark and learn to lead/create seperation from his opponent. Perhaps they need to bring Jack down for a little education?

We started the game like a house on fire but its all about fighting out the entire game. We lost our desperation and want to tackle and scrap in that last. Underdone mids including Smilie (through no fault of their own at this stage of their recovery) didn't help with that.

We're still going to be a force to recon with this year but it did show me that we needed more smalls and mids to see out each game this season.

Don't give a fat's rat's clacker about tonight.
We have been terrific all year.

Put this game away and focus on next week versus whoever we play and the umpires.

Happy for Sonsie had a big game

Colina is a basketballer not a footballer. He knows how to tap cause he learnt that playing basketball. He isn't good at marking so it's not his preferred course of action. At his age and skillset I doubt he getting much better.

Stand up for our team.

Be strong and bold.
Noone else gives an eff.

Disgraceful umpiring tonight.

Only Mr Maggoo would say otherwise!!!!!!
