Will Carlton be in their clash like Adelaide were against Norths last week or will they wear their home strip? If it's the latter, Crows fans should be pounding at Gil's office door

Collingwood would look mint in their clash jumper this week, but I doubt it'll happen

We did last year when we played away to them. Don’t think anything has changed since then. So I hope we do wear it again.

Port and GC in clash*, everything else fairly standard.

* neither requires clash, I just predict it will happen.
Nah, Gold Coast will definitely be in their home. Quote from when their clash was released...
The SUNS will wear the new clash guernsey three times during the 2019 season, in away games against GWS GIANTS (RD11), Sydney (RD15) and Brisbane (Rd21).

If you take all Adelaide Crows games, and remove all games in Adelaide; and games against Sydney Swans, Gold Coast Suns and Geelong Cats (because all teams wear full home against these teams), Now you would have all Adelaide away games minus Syd, GCFC, Geel and Port; and the last time Adelaide wore their home jumper in such game was in 2013 to Collingwood. Therefore, Adelaide use their clash jumper as an away jumper rather than a clash jumper (similar to Fremantle).
Carlton will wear their home jumper to the Bulldogs. The only time a clash jumper has been used since 1999 was in 2007, where Carlton were at home.

I think this is true. It seems they are not too fussed. They could easily wear their home top away to WCE for instance, but always turn up in their white clash.

Theres a bit of mixed messaging from the club around this. Officially its listed as a clash jumper, though informally is sometimes referred to as the away jumper. There have been numerous times where club officials have stated that we want to wear our home jumper "as much as possible" (such as this video which is from 2017 when we had the two clash jumpers). Thing is, if we really wanted to wear it in more away games, we'd use precedents set in other games to push our case to wear it against the likes of the Roos, Eagles and Bulldogs.

In that video, then GM of Footy Phil Harper mentions that there are "only three left" in regards to away games where the AFL lets us wear the home jumper in away games - Geelong, Port Adelaide and Sydney. Will be interesting to see if Gold Coast has been added back to the list this year, seeing as they now wear their home against us.

That promo shot also has both teams in coloured shorts, which would be absolutely fine except that the AFL will put Essendon in white shorts cos reasons.
Maybe they've made up an Easter clause.
Clashes don't alwas exist in finals so these shorts may be ok because it's Good Friday.
I'll laugh hard if Essendon wear black shorts away to North in royal on the same day as Port wear white shorts (with their black tops) away to West Coast in royal.
