Also remember after a great win seeing Darryl Summers in the carpark and he wasnt as happy as us!

We used to live near to his Mum's place in Windsor. He is a slimy prick - he pushes in at the local milkbar to get served first no matter how many others are already waiting. I got banned from the shop for calling him a prick (in 1981).

He actually used to take his Ray Bans off in the shop so the bloke would recognise him and serve him first.

I guess it depends where you live etc but The Retreat Hotel in Abbotsford is a good pub to combine a date with some footy watching.

I remember a win up there in the rain. Corey Jones’s first game it was - I remember it clearly. Got absolutely soaked on a cold day. A win was great

Another great win was in 1993 round 3 IIRC. After we lost to St Kilda the week before, having beaten Brisbane unconvincingly in round 1 in Pagan’s first game. The win in Geelong showed that we had something that year. Daniltchenko played well.
