I think my favourite thing about Eric's 2nd half was that it was kick-started by his great forward pressure to force their spilt kick-in. Coming just after Charlie's shocking set shot miss, you could understand him just going through the motions a bit on that play. But he sniffed the opportunity, went hard at it and ended up with the goal that turned things around. Peak footy karma.

Eric was just throwing himself at everything. That doesn't take talent, just intent. I think if he can continue doing that, he will play more good games than bad.

Had a great weekend there as well, we were able to hide in the shade up the opposite end next to one of the food trucks. Had no idea of where the ball was up the other end though, the LED boards were awful.

Ha, yeah they were quite bright weren't they, made it a bit tricky to see the players as night fell. They looked like silhouettes. Perhaps the Norwood Oval lighting isn't quite to the same standard as the more recognised venues.

I'd say we were pretty close to you (see my photos above). Glad I brought my binoculars.
