It really baffles me how this Allies team beat Country by so much (even being two rotations up) and were errant kicking away from beating Metro.

Freo would be disappointed that Medhat is playing so well, looks a steal after these champs. Wouldn't be surprised if they pass on Carter though.

They have about 7 players rotated out of their best side today

Freo have moved Carter from Claremont to their alignment club Peel, so I doubt that they will pass on Carter (but stranger things have happened). He missed most of last year through injury and is still building some touch and fitness, so could essentially be a "free" hit for us late in the draft.

Medhat has been very good, there are a couple of clubs who were looking at him pre-carnival.

Carter simply hasn't had a good game this season. The only game he's had an impact on was Round 1 against East Fremantle and even then he wasn't named in the bests by his coaches. Not a good look for a kid who was all but guaranteed a Freo spot at the end of last season.

I don't disagree with you, I just don't think Freo would go to the extent of having him transfer clubs and then not select him given his injury last year and that he is still only 18, but your point is valid.
