Ablett has a bad record against Aaron Joseph. Maybe I will go with Swan this week, see if he can put up a big Anzac Day 150.

Swan. Anzac day last year was his dt breakout game, made me realise how much of a premium he is. Him all the way. Jimmy looks a good option too imo, and Sandi should easily notch up 90-100+

Sticking with Hodge for a second week is very tempting. Also Cooney against Adelaide looks like a good option.

Joseph had a good game against Ablett last year, but Geel also were soundly beaten. Considering Ablett hasn't scored below 120, I can't see any reason to the the Big C of him just yet.

I'm hoping even his quiet game will yield 90+ :)

Don't have Ablett or Swan yet unfortunately so I will be choosing from Stanton, Hodge, Chapman or might just leave it as Corey.

Very tempted to go Stanton or Chappy atm but ill probably end up leaving Corey as captain again.

My captain average is currently 116.75 having used Bartel, Voldt (massive 147), Bartel & Hodge.

Hodgy is my only player who is averaging over that score so I'm currently beating the "lock & leave" Bartel captaincy.

This week. Jared Brennan. Who can play with him at Melbourne? I'm hoping he and Sylvia go "head to head" ;)

Am I the only person thinking about Pav against Richmond?

Thought about it, decided against it.

I don't think it's going to be the 10+ goal shalacking that everyone expects - There's a great argument to put Sandilands captain since he'll be essentially playing against a plastic chair, but Barlow will be a risk if Palmer comes back as nobody knows what role he'll have and Pav might get rested if the game is safely secured in the final quarter... It's been a pretty intense month for Freo and I wouldn't be surprised to see them step off the gas at some stage this week.

Fair Call:thumbsu:

I agree and i think sometimes when good teams like freo come up against struggling teams like richmond the premium players dont always score quite as well. They tend to share the load around and as you said Harvey will be more likley to rest players due to the intense month they have had. Rather than when they are playing against good teams like Geelong and guys like Pav really need to take the game into their own hands and lead from the front.

Calling the Richmond ruckmen plastic chairs is an insult to plastic chairs.

I'm thinking with going with Swan but does anyone think the bombers are just going to put someone on him with the sole responsibility of negating swan completely from the game?

Has anyone considered Montagna against port? Lenny and Dal get the tag most times

Sample space 1 game??

Doubt Joseph will play on him anyway, maybe only when Gaz moves into the forward line.

Played on him in NAB as well and Ablett barely got a touch. Make of that what you will. Ablett has said publicly that Joseph is the best tagger he has played on....

Not sure. I thought I was going to be locking in Ablett for 22 rounds but just a bit nervous about that this week and Swan is a good option anyway.
