Akec Makur Chuot will return to Richmond’s team for tomorrow night’s Indigenous round game against Geelong.
The athletic defender has forced her way back into the 21 after a strong showing playing for Port Melbourne against Casey in a VFLW practice match last weekend.
Sarah Sansonetti has been omitted from last week’s AFLW team and has been named as an emergency along with Christina Bernardi.
The clash will be Richmond’s first game under lights since Round 1 2020, which was the Club’s inaugural AFLW fixture.
Geelong claimed an entertaining 22-point win in Bendigo when the two sides met in Round Four last year.
Tomorrow night’s match begins at 7.10pm at GMHBA Stadium with tickets still available. The game will be broadcast live on FOX FOOTY from 7pm.
