That was one of the hardest pairs of teams to match up so far. I suppose the match ups will be determined by how the talls will be used, and if a mismatch exists either way, which coach will force the other into positional reshuffle. In a battle of wits against Ayres, I would back Pagan. Hell, I'd back Pagan's dog!

You've done a pretty good job there Darky, are those matchups as you expect them to line up or just for matchups sake??

I reckon Jars could well play down back again, not in the centre, Blakey does a very good job usually on him and we'll look to break that tag by playing him in the backline. Interesting to see if Blakey follows him everywhere in a negating role.

Goodwin on King looks a good matchup, I hope Hart doesn't line up on Harvey, the little champ will be too quick and clever for him. Not sure who could pick him up though, maybe Edwards could go back as he has done in the past.

I reckon Stenglein will have a tagging role, probably not on Simpson, maybe Grant or Stevens. I think Stevens may take McKernan, though you could be right with Smart, we need him rebounding off half back, rather than on your full forward line.

I also think Hewitt will probably start at either full or half forward, with Biglands on the bench. Just personal opinion, I'd like to see Evan start.

Anyway, it all looks interesting, should be a fascinating game, with more than a few good match ups.
