In your situation I think you need to consider how tolerant you are of carrying two midfield donuts.

You probably should be ditching two of Heeney, Anderson or Lambert.
I'd ditch Heeney and Anderson for the reasons outlined in the post just before this one :)

Yep very valid point and appreciate the input :thumbsu:, Van Berlo survives the chop and have done Heeney & Anderson out for Krakouer & Tarrant. Will look to make Van Berlo into Pendlebury in the next couple of weeks. :)

In that case, Anderson and Heeney for mine. Anderson a bad selection from the get go and one I'm glad I stayed away from. Tough lineup to break in to. Heeney has a 7 in his three game floating average and won't start making money until he's gone, so that's at least a month given he's out this week. Lambert will be close to back by then and will make you more cash than Heeney.

Also, cash aside, Heeneys weekly scores are hardly worth banking.

Thanks Jiska, appreciate the advice always good to get another point of view. :thumbsu: Hopefully Tarrant & Krakouer moo big for us all and we get some massive cash!

Heeneys breakeven is only 36. He had two 90s and a 60 odd up until his injury affected 7. Should still make another 100-150k.

With only 25 trades left, should I trade Lamb to Tarrant. Bit worried all these cows mooing at the same time, and have nothing to downgrade to.
Is Lamb injured?

He's got more left than Heeney.
Based on what exactly? NVB is valued at 60k more than Heeney. Taking the 7 out of the equation, NVB isn't avg more than Heeney, and history says NVB is right around where he's supposed to be. Heeney has less to do to have more growth left. You'll maybe get around 50k more from NVB, I'd be very surprised if there was only 50k left in Heeney.

Heeneys price will not rise much until June (a week before the Bye Rounds) on account of the 7 being in his rolling average. If you think Heeney is a season long keeper, keep him. If you're trying to maximise cash before the bye rounds, trade him.

Have a play here: http://tooserious.net/PlayerSalaryCalculator.aspx?id=2459&name=Isaac Heeney

Even based on that (which assumes an avg of 66 for Heeney, when it was 85 without the 7 score), he is still projected to go up in price more than NVB by the bye week. So still don't get it.

Why are you leaving the 7 score out? That was a legit score. He was subbed towards the end of the third quarter. Heeney won't kick 4 goals every week as he did in Round 3 to inflate his average either.

Each to his own, keep him if you like, I'm only giving my opinion.

I'm not leaving the 7 score out. I said even using his avg including the 7 score, he is still projected to go up more than NVB by the bye rounds even with missing this round. As someone whom has decided to trade out NVB for Krakouer and keep Heeney, I'm just curious why you think NVB is the better choice to keep. NVB given his higher price point also has less ability to absorb a bad score and maintain increases compared to Heeney.

I downgraded Heeney to Krak this week and next week will upgrade NVB to JPK in the next two weeks.

I agree Dundalis. Heeneys breakeven is only 36, with the 7 included! Has a higher ceiling than just about any midfield rookie including NVB.

Vandenberg, Cripps, CEY and Miller all have higher ceilings IMO.

Heeney looks to be playing up forward, more than he is in the guts.
Titch played well today, so could this mean less time for Heeney on-ball?
I don't have NVB, but would keep him over Heeney. Who even knows if Heeney comes back in next week.

Having said that, my only trade this week is:
Heeney to Tarrant (via Lambert)
This creates DPP, a $90k cash grab, and get a player who will make fast money.

OUT: Newnes
IN: Shaw, Smith (both high break evens 110~ and 150~), Pittard ($433k, 64, 130, 94, 101) - can he keep it up though?

Any suggestions? Currently have: Lumumba, Ibbotson, Newnes, Hibberd, Saad, Oxley, McIntosh, Brown. Cheers
