Waite a big gamble to be a premium. Fyfe is injured. Riewoldt's premium days are over he will struggle to average 75.Sidebottom, Franklin, Waite, Chapman, N Riewoldt, Goodes, Fyfe

Waite: is averaging 97.8 He's every bit a PREMIUM this year!
Riewoldt: His best days might well be behind him, but I will back him to bounce back a bit from last year and average low 90's this year.
Fyfe: Will be fine. GUN!
Only reason he was rested is because the doctor said his shoulder will be 20% stronger if he has a week off. Sucked in to everyone who traded him out!

Think Palmer is going to end up with an average around 85 instead of the 95 I thought he would get and his scores have been very inconsistent

Of course his average is going to be higher playing against Melbourne, GC, Port and Bulldogs. Wait till he actually plays top 8 teams and watch him struggle to break 50.I beg to differ

Agree on Voldt.
But if Carlton are a top side this year that can challenge for the premiership, then Jarrad Waite is a premium.
He is a risk (a risk I took and got on him last round at just 380K)....but a risk worth taking. With a few seconds before lockout it was either him or Whitecross and I think he got lucky with his first 3 scores and who knows what happens to him when Hodge comes back

You have no idea. He averaged 84 last year with the Saints having their worst season for a few years, as well as him not being 100%. He averaged 96, 99, 99, 106, 94 the 5 previous years and he's still only 29! By BF standards 29 is sooooo old and it's all downhill from here on
but in reality he still has a year or 2 of 90+ averages in him, especially if he stays healthy and the Saints can remain competitive, which they have been for the most part this year. PS his career average against top 8 teams is very good.

And the good thing is (unless you're a Carlton supporter like me) is Waite scored 92 points and only kicked 0.3. Where he kicked 3 goals in each of the 3 previous games. Could have easily been another 100+ score. He won't always be so inaccurate.

Trade #2 Magner to Ablett = 280k
Value = 210k
+ JMac @ ? 200k+ less 100k purchase value
= 100k
= $220k + ability to make another 200k before JMac bye in Round 11 where I can trade in Swan/Stanton/Jelwood.
