This is making it even more painful when Rankine eventually drops down to whichever SA club has the first pick.
not sure why Rankine hasnt been talked about more as the potential #1 pick.

Starting to get to the point where I'll be very disappointed if we miss out on Rankine. Assuming Carlton have pick 1, Suns have picks 2 and 3 and the Lions have pick 4 I'm hoping he'll slide to 4 and definitely no further.

You'll need to win by about 350 to pass us on the ladder though. I guess we could still lose to you and then GC and take it. Would truly be bizarre if Lions do end up taking the spoon with an 80 something percentage. I don't see it happening.
