Especially if the Lions kick less than that.
They've had trouble so far this year.

Got to say the activity & effort in these preview threads has been exceptional. All credit goes to tasmanlvr for his previews. Except, that is, for the credit I take for myself which is 97%.
Good to have a few opposition supporters in the thread too adding to discussions. I will try to post a link each week in the oppositions preview thread on their board to get a few good posters dropping across.
True dat. Happy for Tappy to get an uninterrupted run at it, even if he's just been in middling form. No one at Casey's bashing down the door. Gawn to slot 11.Hard to see us not replacing Jetta with one of Strauss/Nicholson, but I don't really want any of Jones, Davey and Tapscott to be dropped.
Final ins:
In: McKenzie, Blease, Rodan
Out: Viney, Clark, Jetta
Strauss, Nicho, Spencer the emergencies. McKenzie, Tappy, Davey, Jones on the bench.
Evans as FOLL. Show of confidence from the coaches.
e: Blergh we have Bannister umpiring.
Cut Bannister a bit of slack. He's doing it pretty tough atm.
POTYThanks CA, and just one last thing to inspire the boys this weekend...

18th v 17th last week, 17th v 16th this week, really hope the boys don't get blockbuster fatigue.
Then how could you complain? No offense, but J-Ban is one of the best umpires in the AFL. Anyway, I came in here to post the article but I see some of you have found out. Good luck for the seasonedit: Righto, just googled and saw about his brother. Had no idea when I made my post. My opinion about his umpiring was formed last year.
Yeah good one Higgs you ****ing clueless moronPossibly yes CFH. *waits for the laughter to subside* To some extent anyway. I have to admit we're shit after the performances this year - but it surprises me. I really thought we would be better. And I still don't think we can be AS shit as our performances suggest.
The conclusion I've reached is that a fair bit of it has to be a confidence thing. A dire crisis of confidence across a team becomes a circle of doom. Players become too scared to play with freedom, causing worse performances causing more lost confidence.
So it is possible - and it's only a possibility (I'm good at half arsed theories) - that the last quarter against GWS has rebooted the whole thing. It's great for mine that we're playing Brisbane this week, another team performing poorly. It gives us a further realistic chance of furthering the process. If we were playing Hawthorn for example, we might be straight down into that doom loop. But against Brisbane there's a glimmer of hope.
But, then, I've always been a disgusting optimist. Having said all this, and more pertinently having tipped us, we'll probably go out and get bent over royally
