10/10 TEAM

5 - Gardiner - dominated a very good ruckman, huge marks around the ground, brilliant, worthy RG Medal winner
4 - Fletcher - many poss, 3 critical goals, a couple of turnovers and the fact that his direct opponent Bell got so much of the ball was all that stopped him getting 5 from me
3 - Sampi - game breaker today in the way that Judd is so often
2 - Chick - we play taller and stronger when big brother DC is on the field, beat Pavlich, tackled like a maniac, even won 3 hitouts
1 - Cousins - very pleased with his game today, clearances were terrific, seemed to stand up when we were challenged as a team (I think his right foot is injured as he seemed to handball rather than kick)

Unlucky - Embley, Green, Carroll, Banfield, Judd, Jones, Read.

5 - Fletcher - 27 disposals and 3 goals are good enough for me. Despite letting his direct opponent get 28 touches. Fletchers disposals were far more important than Bells.
4 - Cousins - I thought his clearance work out of the center was terrific aswell as his round the ground work. He just never stops running.
3 - Chick - Gave Pavlich a bath. What more do you want. He destroyed their best player. Not to mention 16 dispoals and 8 tackles!!! 8!!
2 - Sampi - 4 goals and at important times too. Could have kicked more too considering he kicked 4-3.
1 - Gardiner - easily beat Simmonds in the ruck, he constantly gave our midfield first use which is so important.

Very unlucky were Embers who continues to shine, 24 touches and 9 marks! Green who gave Medhurst a touch up. Banners who was great down back in the Pundaless backline. Read, Judd and Carroll were also good.

5 - Daniel Chick. Smashed Pavlich and did some damage of his own. Showed great poise at times, and always played tough footy.

4 - Chad Fletcher. Once again racked up plenty of touches and used the ball well. Wasn't overly accountable, but he did more damage than Bell.

3 - Michael Gardiner. Gave midfielders first use of the ball all day, while he did pretty well around the ground. Continued his great form, and reaffirmed himself as the AFL's form ruck right now.

2 - Ashley Sampi. His best performance to date which could land him a Rising Star nomination. Kicked 4 goals, and constantly made himself a nuisance when the ball was in our forward line.

1 - Ben Cousins. In his big 150 he performed very solidly. Got better and better as the match wore on, and neded up with 25+ touches.

Unlucky: Chris Judd (got injured, otherwise he probably would've got a vote), Ashley McIntosh, Phil Read, Andrew Embley.

5.Gardiner- Really has gone to a new level this year. Simply unstoppable, and imo better than his dissection of St K because this time he was thrashing a quality ruckman in Simmonds.

4.Fletcher- There's something about Freo which makes him come to play- another high workrate game, and 3 great goals.

3.Cousins- Ominous display, probably only a round or so away from his best form.

2.Sampi- The game breaker in the first half, truly stunning first goal. It looks likes Lewis, it plays like Lewis, for all intents and purposes, we have Chris Lewis in our best 22 again.

1.Chick- Far better game than his stats suggest. Was given the toughest assignment available, and performed magnificently.

Seriously stiffed were Green, Embley, Judd and Rowan Jones.
