Both Salisbury teams guernseys are a good effort for local clubs, but still a bit busy. Salisbury's would have looked great without the poppy's at the bottom and just the silhouettes between the stripes

Lions wearing an Anzac Day jumper for the QClash this weekend

Not a fan of this jumper. I wish they would look at Essendon to realise that less is more. Anzac Day weekend should be a week to subtly remember the ANZACS, rather than an over commercialised way to make money. I simple nod to the ANZACS would have been better.

If WC had yellow shorts to wear on the peril then Geelong could wear whatever tf they want and there'd be no issues

Of course there's the whole flimsy white shorts policy too but that's been covered enough

WC would look awful with Yellow shorts.

The best ANZAC jumpers were the ones used for ten years from 2005. For any games played on ANZAC Day itself, just put the ANZAC logo on on the chest. Thats honestly all that needs to be done and IMO is the most appropriate way to be respectful and pay tribute.

When making heritage/throwbacks there needs to be a line between mimicking the design and making it function within the modern template effectively and I think ISC missed the mark with this one.
I'd suggest they probably missed it at Eddie's insistence.

I love the "Anzac jumper that is conveniently white-based for clash purposes, thanks for the idea Essendon" jumper. With the sole exception of the massive black collar square-thing.

Also good to see the umps found yellow wristbands today.

Does anyone else get the vibe that Collingwood will be moving back to white based jumpers in the next 5 years?

It's possible, and it adds to the theory that Geelong wearing navy shorts at home this year can set a precedent for Collingwood to wear black shorts at home with a white based jumper. I'm guessing North would be welcome back on the bandwagon too but for all we know they might be content with the royal based jumper
