In the one and only WAFL game he played after coming off an illness that resulted in him dropping 5kg?
Cant say I did, but if I had I definitely would have strong opinions on exactly how his career will pan out.
You do realise he played in multiple pre season wafl games? He is tracking perfectly fine but he clearly isn’t a highly talented inside mid.

Just watched those wafl highlights and Grego looked pretty good!

Very calm with ball in hand something you can say about many.

obv wafl is way below but his u18 highlights show him with heaps of poise too... reckon he's ready.

Brockman looked amazing too Dunno who he'd come in for but be happy to reward a good game

Difficult exercise this week because there’s plenty of players who could be dropped but no one other than Grego really put their hand up in the magoos.

Out: Jilliams, Davis
In: Brockman, Grego

Backs: Edwards, Brock, Ginbey, Maric, Hough, Harley, Duggan
Mids: Baker, Graham, Hall, Gross, Hunt, Dewar
Rucks: Billiams, Archer
Forwards: Waterman, Allen, Ryan, Cripps, Brockman, Hutchinson, Owies
Sub: Grego
Emergencies: Cole, Jilliams, Davis

Brockman for Jilliams to give us a bit more run, I like Jilliams but he was largely invisible today other than that muffed certain goal.

Grego to get a debut to give the fans a reason to turn up. Davis back to the WAFL after getting a taste.

Kelly to have another week in the WAFL. Wouldn’t mind Cole for Duggan but it won’t happen.
Flynn to come back in for Bailey.
Cole for Duggan offers nothing.
Davis either deserves a full game or back to WAFL, his biggest strength is his ability to run all day, and out work his opponent.
Keep the bigger forward line, with Jack Williams, they just need a lot quicker delivery from the midfield.
Bring Grego in based on form. Out for him, take your pick.

Another thing to add to the ruck debate is looking at how Flynn and Williams have gone against each other in the past. I know Flynn is a bit older but he is still a lot more productive than Bailey. He needs another run.

2023 Rd 2
Flynn - 18D 39HO 3M 0.0
Williams - 10D 20HO 1M 0.0

2022 Rd 10
Flynn - 18D 41HO 5M 0.1
Williams - 7D 36HO 1M 0.0

Flynn looks more "safe" than BBW and seems to be able to clunk a mark here n there.

We gotta just hope one of them cements their spot and performs
I don't think Bailey is ever going to magically become a competent ruck, cement his spot and perform.

This is clearly his level and has been his level for a number of years. At least at GWS, Flynn has shown himself to be able to be an AFL level ruck. Not sure why he has been so shithouse since coming here but

Have you actually watch him in the WAFL team this year?
Yes I did, and from the one match I saw after he came in after illness, it seems very likely he will be a gun.

Assuming Gov plays, only 4 on the injury list. Competition for spots is high so Mini has options. WAFL team could have 17 listed players. No excuses for any of them.

Here’s an idea, how about only minimal changes? Let the side settle.
