Yes, and he's done his time so it's someone else's turn to sit out. Plenty of senior players to cycle through the longer you leave the bloke in the WAFL the longer it takes to get around to the captains, who'd have the longest rope you'd think.

I'm not surprised. Continued to jump up and tap the ball way into space out in front of the centre bounce only for it to be picked off. For someone who was getting a decent leap at it and clear first hands, there was no finesse or nous to put it to our mids.

This was infuriating. Not only because he continued to do it but our mids all decided to run to the inside of the ruck contest while the Blues players stayed on the outside so were always able to run to where BW was putting it and into space. Poor rucking AND poor midfield craft .

He was just as flat footed, just as reactive and just as spudly at WAFL level as he's been at AFL level. There was no switch flicked, no fire, no wake up call or dominant game from him at all, not even intent.

He had 12 touches to 3QT FFS. Surely the coaches aren't that blind.

If he gets names before Grego, Brockman and Flynn that's straight up pathetic from McQualter.

Unless it's for Hunt on a wing... I'll be quite wild if it's for Hall.

Kelly coming back in straight away is an interesting call. An obvious reaction to how young we were in the middle last week, but I hope it won’t be at the expense (as in dropping of a young player).
Kelly for Hunt is fine. Will be expecting to see a strong response from TK, if he can’t lift in a decent way then the next demotion should be a long one…

Some truth! He's held in high regard by team mates, especially the younger ones.

Kelly in is a given IMO. He may not be in form but he's our only fit senior midfielder. At the very least he can provide some link up play and not burn out completely by the 4th quarter. I want to see the young guys play but having 5 young mids together isn't going to get us anywhere.
