As a SUNS fan that has gone through a lot of floggings, I wholeheartedly agree with this feeling.

Solid effort today. Wins are just around the corner

Sigh .......

Loved watching him get up and sprint the length of the field to impact the play straight afterwards though. You could tell he hadn't recovered yet. I expect that effort will be shown to the playing group this week. Tough as nails
I’ve been critical of Ryan’s efforts at times in the past but this season he is cracking in. I wonder if it’s a new coach or maybe without the old heads of JK and JD he’s just upped his game? Whatever, more please.

Just watched the/a replay, not often the umpiring is worse second time around when viewed coldly and analytically.
I could not see a case for dropping Archer.
The only reason you drop Archer is load management. And don't play him back.
He didn't hit the scoreboard, sure, but his pressure work, (5 tackles, 4 I50, one big run down in the centre), crashing in and forcing the ground ball was all excellent.

That's how you impact a game as a key forward when you are having an off day and aren't kicking goals.

Agree, thats why I would not drop him but would manage his load - as with other young players. We are playing a long game.

And thats gonna be rewarded by being omitted so the captain can fit into the side.

did you know that Elijah Hewett has Judd like tendencies
FWIW Peter Bell said on ABC Sports Talk yesterday morning that in all seriousness the first he heard of Elijah Hewett was from a Freo recruiter that said there is a kid at Swan Districts that has Judd like moments.

So despite being a board meme it is at least founded in reality.

That first perkins goal, comes directly from a tim kelly shirk against shiels at the cbd. Then they get that 10 min run on in the 3rd q
